Great hike. more than we expected but Ramona Falls was worth it!

Parts of it were absolutely beautiful. But it was hard to tell how to stay on the trail at times- and it went through a campground part way which was strange.

nice trail just poorly marked and maintained

awesome trail and well maintained

Loved it

It is an amazing bike ride, I felt so majestic. I biked all the way in and I thought it was a pretty easy trail. Just be careful because some of the trails are two way and people don’t slow down.

Gorgeous sidetrip from Mt. Hood!

a nice walk, very easy. family friendly.

Headed up early. Nice quiet trail.

Great climb, great views, and overall great experience! The climb will test your endurance and potentially your route finding skills (although the snow is quickly melting).

I did it as a sunrise climb and it was well worth it!

Great climb up to the top of Thielsen! The route is snow-free and tail is well-defined, basically up to the pinnacle.

For the summit pinnacle, head to the east face (right side) and look for a small gully. From the top of the gully, begin your accent on the far right and stay on that side for the entire scramble, shading slightly back to the south (left).

Not a terrible scramble if you're experienced, maybe class IV... if you don't have experience this one will scare the crap out of you due to its exposure.

Message me if you have questions! Cheers.

A nice climb up to the summit. The snow is almost completely absent from the trail at this point.

Like the previous report mentioned, there are a bunch of mosquitos, so be prepared. We also saw the same tracks in the snow, didn't realize they were mountain lions though.

Steep start with lots of switchbacks. Getting to the top is well worth it. Hopefully the weather is kind so you can see Mt. Hood. Their is a ridgeline that you can continue to climb if you so choose. You don’t need to to get a great view. Limited parking spots near the trailhead as of now. I had to drive a mile up the rode to Find parking and walk back toward the trail on the road. Well worth the journey.

Awesome quick trail. Great views of the ocean from some of the spots. The beginning is steep, but after you conquer that part its pretty smooth sailing.

Beautiful waterfall! The hike wasn’t too bad, but at the end it does get steep and I had to slide down so wear shoes with good traction.

The trail shown comes nowhere near Cline Falls, it actually is in and around the Eagle Crest development. To view. Cline Falls, park in Cline Falls State Park, and hike downstream, under the highway bridge....it takes approximately 15-20 min. The falls are more impressive than you'd imagine.

a nice hike, though it is near a road so not as remote as I'd prefer. the waterfall is so worth it though!

I did this hike last week and it was great! definitely a good workout with amazing views. I went on a Sunday, midday and only came across a few other hikers. It did take me a little bit of navigating to get to the trailhead though, because my GPS took me on a route that had a closed road. Luckily there are lots of other forest roads to get you there. I highly recommend this hike and would do it again.

Great hike with minimal to no other hikers (we saw 1). Amazing view of Hood and Adams.

Beautiful! Not very muddy, and what mud was there was firm. Recommend getting here early though, parking filled up fast! Only 3 other cars in the lot when we arrived at 9am, completely full when we left at around 12:30. Bathrooms are past the trailhead, across the street.

this spot is super cool!! worth the extra drive out here in such a rural area. its absolutely beautiful out here and the trailhead is gorgeous. I love the running river near by the whole time. it was mine and my fiance's first time here and we will be back. we took our two fluffy Maltese pups and one of them got burs stuck on his face and legs. they are adventure dogs and loved it but with all the cheatgrass and burs it was hard going any further for them and had to unfortunately turn around, but we will definitely be going back to finish it or at least get half way through just us two.

Road is open and some snow on parts of trail. Extremely muddy in the meadow. Wildflowers are just starting to bloom.

Well maintained trail. Slightly steep switchback turns closer to the summit at Dimple Hill. Very shady for most of trail. Gorgeous views of Corvallis and Philomath.

Great hike! Definitely worth it. Hard to find parking, but there is some street parking about 100 feet from the trailhead-- if youre lucky. There's a gate that says no trespassing, just go around it and follow it up. There's a house, but the trail starts before you get near the house. It's off to the side. Beautiful views! But my friend and I did get dive bombed by a huge hawk, so be careful.

Love it and the view is amazing! I made the mistake of going without having eaten (hypoglycemic) and got lightheaded and a bit sick with the elevation increase. It's not an easy trail but it is not at all impossible. Beautiful!

Because of a late start, we went in and out Burnt Lake Trail. Steady uphill climb the entire way, but nicely shaded with some groves of awesome wildflowers and butterflies.

There are a considerable number of campsites, I think we scored one of the best on the "island" of the lake because it's shaded and has easy access to the lake right off the campsite.

Be prepared to spend 45 min to an hour on the CRAZY bumpy road in. We didn't get over 10 mph the entire drive. Also, don't follow the directions on this app to the trailhead, you'll end up dead ending in an entirely wrong trailhead.

Flies were really bad, but they left in the evening.

lots of stumble bumps. watch out for posin oak

Awesome hike! view was phenomenal! I think I'd prefer to do it with snow on the ground. It was a very toughugh hike with no snow. View is great the whole way up. Really hot once passed the tree line. Be sure to have your snacks, 3-5 liters of water, trekking poles, and sunscreen. Can get windy.

The view on top of Pilot Rock is amazing. I had no experience in rock climbing when I did this but I had friends who helped me get to the top. It's pretty scary but was well worth the hard work. There's also tons of bugs at the top that will be all over you. Make sure to bring non-slip shoes!
