Can it get better?! Great hike, good exercise, outstanding views in every direction, but of course the sight of the bluest of lakes from the highest point in the park is one you won’t forget. This is an extremely easy and pretty short trail. It’s more of a walk but the waterfall is beautiful!

This trail gives you alright views of the canyon although i wish there was an easier way to get a good view of the canyon. Obviously its great that this is a loop. good trail to stop by on your way out of Crater Lake.

Went last year, early July. Easy trail—expect lots of foot traffic. Beautiful wildflowers. Breeding grounds for butterflies. Park Ranger had asked that we watch our footing so as to not harm them. Gorgeous “Blues”. Found some reviews/info here: http://hipsterbirders.blogspot.com/2015/11/butterflies-of-crater-lake-national-park.html?m=1

the NPS website says dogs are allowed on this trail.

Great trail, shaded in some parts but majority of it will be in the open. You will find the occasional tree to get some shade and rest. Hike is challenging but not crazy difficult. The view at the top is spectacular but it is very crowded and there is no place to really enjoy the view or grab a quick lunch with the crater lake view. Be sure to go on a moderately sunny day!

Great views of The Pinnacles from a very short and level trail.

Perfect grade trail and perhaps enough to deter the weekend warriors? Crater lake describes it as ‘difficult’ but everything in life is relative. Great views and a wee bit of a workout to boot!

Great trail, steep during majority of trail along Mount Scott. Hiked around 7a and arrived on the top about 9a, plenty of panoramic views from Klamath, Crater Lake and to Diamond Lake.

Nice short trail to a beautiful falls. Trail offers great scenery of the forest and plenty of wildlife. Great for all and not very difficult.

Recommended highly, good trail, easy going 2 mile up to get just shy of 9 grand. Loved it!

This was a very easy nice walk in the forest. We walked to the PCT and to Dutton Creek trail and campground. There were dead trees everywhere. I wouldn't hike here during a strong wind.

Not much of a hike at all, just takes you out to a view point to see the pinnacles which are super cool. We almost didn’t go down the road after we saw the falls up the road, but we are so glad we did.

What a beautifully well maintained and easily accessible trail. Mostly flat except for the last little bit up to the falls. Falls are pretty but so is the hike through the forest.

Short hike, gentle elevation gain and great reward at the peak!

Great views. Crowded. Easy to follow.

Easy trail. Dusty. 1/2 along the Williamson River up to Williamson campground. The fly fishing expert with us said it was not worth fishing, too slow, no holes.

Pretty cool and easy hike. The falls are lovely, but I imagine if crowded this might be a frustrating hike. We saw a marmot and some cool birds.

Beautiful pre-sunrise hike. Once up, fantastic view of Crater Lake once the sun broke the horizon. Not at all technical or challenging.

Hiked out and not back.. nice awesome pristine nature experience.. no real scapes until making it to the lake.. well maintained and low traffic.. weather was outstanding!

Would go in the morning to avoid the heat - no shade. Moderate hike - it is a constant, moderate uphill so may be a challenge for some. Took a little less than an hour to get to the top, and less than that on the way down. Views are better at various points along the way up than at the actual fire lookout, so take time to stop and enjoy!

The view at the end of the hike is amazing! The hike itself has a good amount of elevation so be prepared. Well manicured trail and not a lot of bugs or animals that we saw. You can’t see much as far as views on the hike. It’s mostly in the forest. A lot of the trail is in the shade. Good hike overall.

Easy trail with a steady climb all the way up to the top. 5 miles round trip with gorgeous views from the top.

Took me under an hour to get to the top. Well-worn, wide, easy trail.

Took about and hour to the top from the parking lot. Left lookout near sunset epic views on the way down. Bring your headlamp. No bugs
