Please don’t hike here. Many other great options nearby. This is a mountain bike specific trail. Not sure about whether it’s “allowed” or not, but why take the risk. You could get yourself or someone else hurt or killed. For intermediate Mtb riders, upper hide and seek is a challenge, lower hide and seek is an absolute blast.

It needs to be clarified, because nobody has, that this really is a mountain biking set of trails. We were the only hikers, and there were bikers everywhere. You really have to watch out for getting plowed by bikes. So, I think as a mountain biking trail this is awesome, but as a hiker, it’s meh: pick somewhere else. So my three stars is for hiking. Otherwise, we saw an awesome thunderstorm go over us, complete with a downpour, chickpea sized hail, and a lightning bolt that blasted right overhead. Pretty epic.

Simple walk and great for furry companions. No running falls in August. I’ll come back in Spring.

Unbelievable downhill trail that is for MOUNTAIN BIKES ONLY!!! Don’t try going hiking there if you wanna stay alive. People are flying very fast on tight trail! You have to pedal uphill on a paved! road that has MTB trails crossing it here and there. Trail is so amazing that I don’t mind pedaling uphill again and again

Lots of traffic on the trail today. Super fun!

I am loving hide an seek so much that I don't mine riding uphill

Beautiful trail! Enjoy!

Today was our first time experiencing these mountain bike trails. Hooked...immediately!!! Muddy, yes, but what do you expect this time of year in the pnw. So much fun either way!

More of a biking trail than hiking

Easy, pretty hike. Not usually crowded — I normally see one or two other cars parked, but no one else on the trail. Great place for the dog, too.

Awesome trail. Would be great for biking but super fun hike with the dog. Well maintained not too muddy despite all the rain. Really fun to sprint back downhill :)

Doing north trail loop, falls loop, and little joe all together is closer to 2 miles, and what a pleasant trail that is. Super pretty

THIS IS MOUNTAIN BIKERS ONLY. IF YOU HIKE YOU ARW PUTTING YOURSELF AND OTHERS AT RISK. BIKERS COME THROUGH AT 30MPH+ AND IF YOU ARE ON THE TRAIL HIKIJG YOU WILL CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT!

Very pretty but pretty rudimentary trail system. The stream is dry as of 9/17 but it’s still worth the wooded parts

Super easy, but lots of cool bridges and trees. Nice relaxing hike. Our dog loved it. Currently (as of Friday 8/31) the waterfall is a little dry. You can hear the water, but you can’t really see a falls, just rocks. Still a fun hike though.

Mountain bike only. Hikers stay out. Unless you want us to start ripping up Ramona falls.

Super simple, they're working on adding more trails this summer. Bathroom on site which is always handy!

Definitely for biking and only one way. There no info posted anywhere. The trailheads should all be marked bikes only. There are a dozen trails around here, all for bikes. I wouldn’t even run on them. There’s a paved road that’s mostly shaded for a nice uphill walk. Every path that goes off of it looks specifically for biking. They are not wide enough for two bikes so I’m pretty sure everyone is expected to go downhill on the dirt paths. I was there early and only saw two people on bikes come down the trail. When we got back on the paved road and went down hill we saw dozens of bikes coming up. Not sure where they came from since there were only two cars in the parking area when I got back. Zero stars for hiking, five for biking. I’m coming back another day with my bike. Great for kids.

Totally a mountain biking spot. Went up hide n seek then down the fire road. My other half came to mountain bike and LOVED it! I just had to really listen and look ahead to constantly be ready to jump to the side as bikers flew past.

Nice, pleasant walk. Went about 9am before it got hot. Saw a couple people with their dogs. Lots of trees so it’s ginger friendly. Kinda out of the way for so short a loop, but great of your local.

Technical ride at the top that changes into rollers and banks at the bottom. Really solid ride for an intermediate+ rider. I would now recommend the top section for beginner riders but the bottom is likely okay. Very fun ride and reasonable climb as it’s is paved and not too steep. Will be returning.

*Hikers beware!* sadly we didn't make it up this trail. When we arrived, someone informed us that the trails were meant almost exclusively for mountain biking, and therefore down hill bikers would not be expecting to see hikers. Bummer to drive all the way out to learn that! Maybe coming during the week would be more doable.

this was a really pretty hike and I loved seeing all the baby salmon fry!

Lovely little hike with pretty mimosa covered trees and fern understory. Rosie our dog loved it too!

This hike was an awesome little hike. It's a great hike for kids and family to get out and enjoy the beautiful forest near Brightwood.

Great little hike. I GPS’d it and took the longer north loop hike. About 1.8 miles in total. I would definitely rate this very easy, there is little to no incline and this is more of a small nature guided hike than anything. Bathrooms located at trailhead, easy to find. Beautiful green scenery.

This is mostly a biker trail. Still a nice hike lots of shades of green.

Simple easy hike. Beautiful

We hiked this trail on a rainy day so no views. It was very confusing as the trails were not marked well. It was a nice woodsy trail and few bikers on it probably due to the rain.
