Went last year in a long overdue rating. Definitely go if it opens again!

Fun little hike. Pretty. Short, but fairly steep so I felt like I got some exercise, too.

Still closed above the bridge.

The trail is closed as the logs and rocks have blocked access for walking, this is what we were told when asked at visitor center in Multnomah Falls. We didn't go any further to check but trusted that old guy.

The trail is still closed but we got a chance to view the falls, amazing view.

My absolute favorite hike in the Gorge. Because of the easy access its nearly always obnoxiously crowded, but if you get there early (7-8am) you can usually get in to the waterfall before the hoards arrive. The log jam to start makes me feel like a kid again, clambering over obstacles and scooting up rocks on my butt. You will get wet on this hike, I recommend water shoes (not beach water shoes but hiking sandals, Keens or similar) as the entire gorge floor is rock covered.
Absolutely stunning if you can get there before the crowds.

when will this be open ???

The trails are closed. I can’t believe I drove out here and didn’t know they were closed.

I’m grateful I did this hike last year when I was able to. It wasn’t in my original plan, to do this hike but to hear, it’s closed, I’m so happy I did. The trial is mostly up hill not too bad let’s just say I made it up and that’s all that matters. Once at the top it all worth it and I was all smiles. I saw an eagles nest on the way down, chipmunks, got chance to taste the water, and the upper view of the waterfall was simply Amazing. When it opens back up I will definitely do it again.

Is this open now?? I see some reviews recently, indicating that this is now open. I will be there week of July 4th. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing, the water can get pretty high and difficult to trek through but overall a spectacular experience

This hike set the bar too high for the rest of the hikes in my life. BEAUTIFUL scenery. Can get pretty crowded but totally worth it.

Don't lose your keys at the Rock of the Ages, it's a LONG way back up! Though, doing it twice in one day was exciting! Worth the work, but don't get lost, or hurt.

Such a pretty hike. Nice hike to get a little bit of everything from the gorge.

you would have to climb up and down a lot. you will also get wet to toward the end.

Indescribably beautiful! The hike to Multnomah sucks. It is just paved switchbacks and very crowded. The beauty begins after you pass Multnomah and the crowds. Whatever you do, do not turn back after you get to Multnomah!

Beautiful once you get to the top and well worth it! Expect rocky dry terrain until you do. You will pass horsetail falls along the way. Horsetail falls is more crowded, but I only saw a couple of ppl up at Triple falls.

My favorite place. Stairs are steep. Worth all the driving! Closed most of the year for winter weather! Check openings first!

I was able to take my 5 year old on this trail with no problems, though he's an adventurous, extremely active kiddo. He struggled at times on elevation gain, and we kept an eye on him as there are always drops... The hike itself is beautiful, I absolutely love how green the gorge is, and this hike is beautiful. You have options to kick off to see other waterfalls, but Triple Falls is absolutely amazing. My family likes to go past the falls, over the bridge, and there's a little area there to have a snack, lunch, play a game, or just chill.

Visited during thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful.

Love this hike and miss it. Last visit was July 14, 2017

We hiked this trail in March 2017. It was strenuous going up. Bring plenty of water and protein food. It was worth it. Stunning views at the top. Watch out for people with dogs. They should not bring dogs on this trail.

The Oneonta Falls are CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to the massive Columbia River Gorge fire of 2017. Please check the link below for updates.

They opened the bottom platform- might be the only chance you’ll get a picture of the falls without someone standing on the bridge haha
Awesome falls, 3 stars only because hike isn’t open yet :(

Beautiful view of the falls but trails are closed I heard till April. Sad I didn’t get to do the hike!

Love this hike! The views at the top are breathtaking! We went during the summer, on a clear day, and could see each mountain on the map at the top. The stairs were a bit difficult for someone with a disability, but took it nice and slow and made it to the top. The drive up Larch Mountain was nice too.

Fantastic hike, gorgeous in every way, waterfalls, lush greenery, flowers, mushrooms, moss, all that's missing are the little fairies :) Took us about 5-6 hrs, just what we needed.

does anyone know someone to contact for a reopen date of this trail?
