It is an amazing bike ride, I felt so majestic. I biked all the way in and I thought it was a pretty easy trail. Just be careful because some of the trails are two way and people don’t slow down.

Nice ride, on way back from Phils trail via KGB an Mervins Garden gives youe great views

Worth the walk!

I mean for a city trail, it’s amazing, clean, hills, good scenery.

Beautiful waterfalls!!

Great hike but hit it early to avoid congestion.

This loop is pretty fun & very dusty. Be ready to hose your bike off when you're done for sure. There is 2 parts to this loop, the 1st is Kent's Trail, a 2 way trail up that gets you Phil's Trail, which is a 1 way back down to the parking lot. Not to tough, but still challenging & fast with a lot of options for different riding paths. Very fun.

This was a nice trail, we started at Tumalo Creek trail and arrived st the visitors parking area to a great view of falls from a distance. I was tired but wanted to get closer and possibly underneath but didn’t do it. Hopefully before we leave I’d like to get to the visitor area on top of falls!

Fantastic hike, you can walk almost directly underneath the waterfall!

Great views, if you are lucky there are raspberries to pick on the side of the trail.

Nice nature walk along the river!

It was a great experience. I did about a 13 mile loop and the majority of the trail was shaded so it was nice and cool. The only downside is that you have to run up the road back up where you came from. If there was a way to connect it from another trail this would be a 5 star trail.

Great trails! Mixed with all kinds of things like flow track, rocky sections, and the trails are so smooth!

Nice little trail!

Nice little trail!

Very enjoyable trail but way too many people. Very convenient and right along the river.

Snowshoed this loop in the winter and it was beautiful. A couple of downsides: the trail is very narrow so you have to be paying attention to skiers or mountain bikers coming downhill, it wasn't super well marked in the winter and we ended up going a mile in the wrong direction. I'd love to try this again in the fall when the leaves change!

This is one of my favorite afternoon loops. It's an easy and peaceful walk!

Amazing scenery. The best view is right from the small Tumalo Falls parking lot (no hiking required (not always what we want to hear)). There are plenty of trails around, however.

Beautiful sight to see! Took a off trail and got under the fall! Amazing. Also a lot of other trails to
Hike besides the tourist 1/4 mile jaunt

This was a great hike. It starts out with an incline, just know it levels out. You're not climbing the whole entire time. There were a lot of mosquitoes so bring some spray. The waterfalls and the creek that the hike follows was really pretty. We hiked just passed the log bridge which was 3 miles and then back out. Parking can be difficult as there are a lot of people. Be sure to listen for mountain bikers they share the trail. This is not a difficult trail.

This trail was so fun! The views of the waterfall kept getting better the farther we went.

Started at the skyline trail. For hikers I could see where this trail could be dangerous. In some places it’s not really wide enough for all the bikers coming through and a person walking. The bikes are usually going pretty fast. Also, the trail was kind of bland until you got to the falls. There wasn’t a lot to see along the way. I’d likely do it again I’d just pay to park and walk up the falls from there.

No snow as of 6/21. Easy to follow pretty much the whole way, just pay attention to the signs

Great trail. A little confusing since hiking trail parallels it. Read signs and stay close to river. Love the turns and whoops. Very doable.

Keep in mind you have to start on the skyline trail.

We parked at the pay by plate station and took the trail that followed the road to the water fall. Almost went too far and ended up on the Farewell trail. Make sure you don’t do that if you’re wanting to see the waterfall. Family restrooms at beginning of trail. There’s a little bit of an incline up to the viewing points but not anything you couldn’t stand aside and take a breather if needed. There is a trail off to the right on your way up if you’re looking to head under the waterfall, but we heard it was a little treacherous so we turned around and continued up. Wonderful pictures and sites. Lots of people and dogs. Some not on leashes. Perfect for first timers or even “out of shape”- like me- people.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather for this hike. Cloudy most of the time with a little sun in between. Lava island is so impressive! Got to see some big crows and a pretty flintch as well. Great easy family hike along the Deschutes!

Beautifully landscaped, asphalt and stone path for the most part (some gravel) along the Deschutes river. Visually impressive, easy stroll, enjoy the walk.
