Trail was very easy to walk, had a high amount of traffic. Wildlife and scenery are abundant. Good for those that want to get a quick walk in.

This trail had a lot of trash along the way. It was still pretty muddy. Saw one spot where a homeless person was camped on the bank of Second Lake. There is no boat landing for First Lake and the water is in no condition to raft or boat on anyway. Highlight was there was very little traffic on the path and the views of the river are spectacular.

Very muddy and lots of homeless and trash. Nice forest walk hot much more than that.

The view was peaceful. We saw little ducklings, and lots of colorful birds. It was noisy from the freeway and railroad tracks. There was a bit of a smell, but only for part of the trail. Nice this place is close to home. Today many courtious walkers out enjoying nature.

One of several great hikes available walking distance from several hotels in Albany. Finished work early enough to sneak in this walk. I combined a loop around Waverly Lake with a fairly thorough exploration of Talking Water Garden. Both were very scenic, inspiring many photos. The flowers and wetlands within Talking Water were way more interesting than I expected. It started raining on my walk, so I got soaked. I ran around quite a bit because I wanted to explore as many routes as I could.

Great easy hike. We took the kids as the dog and we all loved it. Will totally come back.

I love this trail and walk my dog here almost daily. It’s especially beautiful when the sun is out.

Beautiful day for a hike. Easy going trail but keep a hardcopy of a map with you if you’re not familiar with the area. My App stopped tracking my position for about 10 minutes.

Nice nature walk. Not surprisingly it was quite muddy in Dec/Jan but for a quick outting to get the dogs out, not bad. Transient camps are along the water and towards the end.

Nice simple walk with large grass fields. 9 hole beginner disc golf course, and fenced dog park!

There was no smell when I went here in December. Not as much forestry as I would like, but a lovely place in the winter.

it was a pretty hike. very flat wide trail. there are people living in tents at the end of it.

Beautiful area, very nice Veterans memorial. Lots of parking, paved areas, but some just end abruptly. Nice waterways, ducks are enjoyable to watch.

It’s more of a nature walk then a hike, and it’s not for the sensitive nose. When we went it just smelt of sewage. Given the plant is right there and the gardens are part of it. Lots of song birds so the sound is nice with the waterfalls.

I loved it. Hreat for hot days because it is shaded most of the way

This trail is worth the trip. it's on the other side of the tracks if you know what I mean. So you see the back of some industrial buildings from the trail. The trail it's self is a well manicured fine gravel path that weaves through some man made ponds and waterfalls. if you want to see my video click on the link https://youtu.be/A7EJ9_nQ3p0

This is like an after dinner light stroll! Easy, short and not time consuming...but many good photo opportunities! Peaceful, and I have gone 4 times now and every time hardly anyone was there.

Fairly easy out and back trail. There were a couple short off-trails where you could see the Willamette river, which was cool. Go with a friend or a group if you are nervous about encountering interesting people. I didn’t have too much of a problem, but I’m sure others would. One of the off shoots to the main trail had some garbage in the brush. It was sort of difficult to know where the trail technically started.

Not my definition of a hike, but it was an amazing scenic walk. There are some other short trails along the path and when the weather is nice (which it was!) this is a great way to spend an hour of your afternoon! Several little waterfalls that are beautiful and the walk is easy to do for anyone and everyone!

Easy and well maintained path. All ages can walk it. Dogs are allowed as well. I would not recommend walking alone as there are homeless camps nearby.
