Explore the most popular birding trails near Tulsa with hand-curated trail maps and driving directions as well as detailed reviews and photos from hikers, campers and nature lovers like you.

It’s decent, especially for a trail so near development. The trail is often marked quite well, but not all of the time. There aren’t a lot of big views here, either, but you do get an enjoyable hike through the woods with occasional ponds, creeks, and the potential to see diverse mushroom species. Sadly, traffic noise often detracts from the experience. Still, it is one of the best Tulsa has to offer.

Run the yellow/pink trails multiple times each week!

It’s a nice trail in the city. Well maintained. Bring in your water.

Well maintained trail, lost it a bit toward the end, but that’s probably more user error.

i love this trail. i run/walk here at least once a week, sometimes 4x a week. It's very rocky with a lot of tree covering. This is a nice trail to challenge yourself with.

It was pretty tough but it was nice!

Dogs are not allowed! Sadly all of the reviews, pictures, and trail info do not mention anything about this trail being dog friendly. I finally found the property website that gave additional information that this app was not providing. I hike with my dogs; complete disappointment that Oklahoma leads the Midwest states with the lack of trails that allow dogs.

Nice warm-up circuit. Some technical spots with a few features that are in need of slight repair.

A Tulsa gem and a challenging hike. Bring lots of water or a camelpack when it's hot out.

Clean trail! Nice little lake on the trail! Even the kids loved it!

Great urban trail. Would not know your in a city. Challenging but not overwhelming.

love for a quick close hike with dog and friends ... packed on beautiful days!

It is a good place to hike in Tulsa. Mostly shaded! Watch out for mountain bikes!

Great trail. The kids and I enjoyed the ink trail. It was well marked. Great spot for being so close to town.

Very good trail. While most hike the other trails to the east we chose this trail because of its moderate difficulty. One thing to note, the old washing machine landmark is not a washing machine but an old clothes dryer. All in all a very nice hike on a well kept and well marked trail.

We go every other weekend to get outdoors. There aren’t stunning views, sometimes it’s over crowded and the trails are really popular with mountain bikers but it’s still a good place to get out with the family and the dog for a few hours.

Good trail with some tough parts to challenge you.

nice walk. rocky in parts (watch your step). Good overlook of the water treatment plant

I’m from Colorado, so if I’m comparing it to hiking there it’s not the greatest. Umm but if you haven’t done anything there and you have just done stuff here it’s ok. Seems more for bikes than just hiking. Not good views, and just trees. Also it’s pretty crowded here

Great little trail with a few mild challenges! Great for a beginner like me

Turkey mountain is a beautiful place to go hike get outside get some fresh air and see nature bald eagles hike along the river. very nice place and dogs are welcome.

This could be a very nice park. Unfortunately, the highway noise, refinery across the river, and graffiti EVERYWHERE ruin what could otherwise be a nice experience.

It's a beautiful area and the trails are layed out well with a few nice overlooks and some rough terrain. If you're heading out for some exercise or just looking for a quick place to walk the dogs or ride your bike, this is a good place. However, if you're wanting an escape from the city, I'd recommend finding another place.

Awesome trail in my home town. Did the round trip twice to get a great cardio / mental workout. Good for kids too. I'll be starting mine on this trail.

Can get a little crowded so a safer trail in an urban area. The inclines are short and smooth. Great views with cool rock formations, old tree and river views.

Great trail with diverse terrain.

With the assistance of this app I was able to figure out where to go on the yellow trail. It was a lot of fun and had restrooms. I had to backtrack a couple of times.

A nice trail to run. Navigating is a bit tricky at the beginning and the end. Great views with intermittent climbs and descents

Great, easy/moderate trail. Not hard, but a few spots that make you pant. Bring water...it's hot out there!
