Quiet, well maintained, scenic trails. Perfect for family walks and bike riding.

Great place for walking, running, biking and roller blading. So heavily trafficked it feels safe. Only drawback is lack of lighting, making it very hard to do early morning runs.

Way too much sand. That’s the only challenge. The trail is just a trail. I don’t know what the trail maker was thinking. Get rid of that sand. 3 hour drive to ride on a bike beach.

This trail doesn’t offer anything challenging other than the annoying sand at every turn. Useless if you ask me. That would be the only challenge on this trail. Save your time and pick another trail

Large sidewalk, this part goes past the restaurants and lighthouse. Nice area for an after dinner walk or people watching. Great spot to watch the sunset! As a biker, I avoid this section due to number of people around.

Good trail fairly new to MB riding. Encountered several deer actually had to stop for the fawn to get out of the way. Gonna head back tomorrow for the big course that’s about 3-4miles in. If I’m laying there call paramedics!!

Scenic and not crowded. Very nice trail for a bike, a walk, anything to get you moving.

Nice long trail. We walked along Lake Overholster Drive from NW39th to NW10th. Sidewalk the whole way with the exception of walking out on the skinny strip of land that makes the little kayaking area. I would not consider this a "hiking" trail, it was a walking path through a park. Still nice though, I was just hoping to be a little more out in nature. We will probably go back when we're looking to walk a little bit of distance.

Nice option for a hike with dogs. We saw 2 people on the trail and everyone was friendly.

I have lived here for almost two years and just discovered this gem. Always heard about it, driven over the bridge a million times. I hiked the trail today, sort of. I don't like sidewalks so I hiked lakeside as much as I could! Lots of nice places to sit and rest. I'm a fan! I will be back alot since it is so close to home!

I’ve walked the trail to the north and the SW service road and both are neat but otherwise boring. I mostly go walking off road into the refuge itself. Far more to see, some awesome trees to be found and the occasional deer, turkey, or pig can be seen. Overall not a bad spot, needs to be burned to clear out old dead tree litter and leaf build up and get more food for wildlife, but being so nestled in the city that’ll never happen. Waterway is popular with kayakers and paddle boarders.

Across the street from my neighborhood, I use the garden and nearby park for running and walking the dogs. The gardens are very popular with photographers and Pokémon Go players.

Dogs and I come all the time to walk the bike trails and the paved trails. Occasionally we cross the street behind the fish hatchery and wander around over there in the tall grass, maybe chase a fee deer. Love this park with it being tight in town!

HOLY TICKS!!!!!!!!!!! This place is festering with ticks; I would not walk this trail by any means again. Found about twenty small ticks and two large ticks after hiking here

I experienced that lost labyrinth feeling - very interesting

It was definitely a bike trail, not for hiking with dogs. I would go bake to do x-country or mountain biking. No water by the trails but a mile down the road you can find the lake. Watch out for the ticks, I found a couple.

Nice varied trail, mild elevation change but more than I would have expected from OK. Well shaded, beautiful green forest setting and packed sand trails. In 2 hours only saw 1 polite mountain biker, but did see a deer! Lots of back and forth trails. I used my GPS and don’t think I could have done it without. Overall, great trails for the area and worth the drive from Norman.

One of my favorite places to ride. It starts on 10th and council and connects all the way to the OKC river where you can continue all the way to the boat house with dedicated trails and loop back for a 30mi ride if you choose. This section here is around 8mi each direction. It’s very secluded with lots of dress and is very nicely maintained .......hope they keep it up!
They are continuing to develop it making more access points all along the trail for people who live in different parts. You pass a couple of nice lakes making the hole trip very rewarding.

Bluff creek is a super convenient place to do a little single track riding. Terrain is pretty technical and twisty with quite a lot of roots that have been washed out.
The trail is around 4 miles and is a pretty decent workout. Takes around 25min to complete.
The local park surrounding it is amazing with paved running trails and a park for the kids. On Tuesday’s it’s pretty busy with a local kids mountain bike club meeting in the even nags Aron’s 6:30.
Over all it’s a safe and fantastic park to walk, ride, or bring your family for the afternoon.

We had a good time here and the trail was beautiful and maintained.

Always a good ride. Nice trails. Construction adding good stuff.

Dirt road with no elevation changes. Good shade from the trees though - better than some of the sun exposed paved biking paths.

very very pretty! i hiked the bike trail as soon as the sun came up. no one else was on it and it was lovely.

One of the best if not the best place in Okc to hike and enjoy nature. The trails are well maintained and there is a nature center and clean bathrooms and a playground area and picnic pavilion.

First one of the year and couldn’t be happier with it.
