Was pretty washed out but pretty and the kids loved all the ruts. Want to try back in summer when it's all green.

This is a great looped trail near my house. It's great for an after work walk.

Took a 4 mile practice run with a 27# pack out at Lake Thunderbird. Equipment broke in & working well.

Talked to Bright Angel Lodge front desk at the South Rim of Grand Canyon There is lots of snow still & expected to stay til May.
Excited our friend David Penland is joining us in celebrating Randy Shrauner’s 60th Birthday April 7th.

We’re going Rim to Rim to Rim in the Grand Canyon 48 miles, 20,000 ft elevation change.

good local trail, the dog loves it, the people and other animals were friendly

Pleasant little walk. Good walking trails, not overly crowded, many folks with dogs, but few issues that I noticed. Good track for loops if you're wanting to train for longer distances (do 2 or 3 laps). plenty of trees, but firmly planted in a suburban setting. Pleasant patch of trees surrounding a nice pond in the midst of a suburban jungle is a little more apt description than "wilderness area"? Terrific addition to the area, though!

Beautiful trails. My only complaint is that every time I go there are dogs off leash and the owners, when addressed about it, are defensive and rude.

Great trail for getting out into nature.

really fast and simple

Nice short walk, beautiful at sunset, the lakes were particularly pretty.

Started off the new year proper with a family hike!! This was also the first hike of our #52hikechallenge for 2019 and we can’t wait for the adventures ahead. New Year’s Day was a cold one and we only got about a mile of hiking in, but we brought hot chocolate and dressed in layers so we had a blast! We will definitely be back to explore the rest of the trails and look for rose rocks. (Lake Thunderbird is a great place to find them)

Hiked 7.5 miles 12/30/18 started the green loop then went on to the yellow and red loops. They are not marked well so go in with a trail map and gps. Otherwise great hike and view of the lake at the tip of the red trail. The trails are not maintained by the park itself but rather the Bicycle League of Norman which is where you can acquire the most recent map of the trails.

on Clear Bay Trail

Not many people here until afternoon. Stayed on blue and red trails. Well maintained and clear. Nice trail close to the lake. We saw ~9 deer, 2 armadillo and a dead opossum. Of course the trails are many and not marked well. Bring your GPS for a stress free enjoyable day of exploring.

Solid trail close to the south side of OKC

Unless you are riding with a local don’t even waste your time going to this place. It’s a total clusterf...k of unmarked trails that crisscross over each other for no apparent reason. The trails in and if themselves are okay, but there are better places to ride trust me.

Nice place. Not overly crowded.

We loved this trail. It was a peaceful, relaxing, and leisurely walk with our little dogs (who also loved it). The pond/lake had a couple of “scenic outlook” spots for decent picture taking. We will be back.

Good experience! No ticks but we got chiggers. Dog loved it. Got a bit lost the trail markers are not very helpful, thank goodness for GPS. Will definitely use again.

Personally I felt uncomfortable here. I pulled up and there were people in the trees staring as if I was going to bother them. For the little bit of this trail I did do, we came home with no ticks (so far) which is good. I won't be returning to this trail, just had a bad vibe.

There are seed ticks! You will get hundreds or so on you! Otherwise great trail, well maintained, the dogs had fun.

There were tons of tiny ticks. Bring lots of bug spray and water. This trail took about 2 miles an hour due to all the twists and turns. It's very easy to get going in the wrong direction. Parts of the trail are hard to determine if you are on the right one. There are so many trails to choose from. I will definitely go back in the fall once the tick have gone.

ticks were TERRIBLE even with Deet spray. great trail tho.

Took the kid and our dogs. Had a great walk, mostly shady so that was nice because it was hot. No bug issues at all. Met Friendly people.

This was a great well maintained easy trail.
On the drive home we noticed hundreds of seed ticks on us. Please heed the tick warnings for July 2018!!

Holy ticks!!!! We even sprayed before we started. I’ve never seen that many ticks.

Holy ticks!!!! We would be back if it wasn’t for the ticks. May try again when it’s cooler. That many ticks just wasn’t worth it.

go 0.3 miles east of the parking lot to get to the start of the trail. saw lots of deer, only had 1 tick. great, easy trail for me and my dog.

5 yr. old: my favorite part was all the trees and the lake. The walking trail was super great!
