Pretty View, short trail near water, lots of up and down rock climbing, step type. Great place to go if you are in the neighborhood.

Gorgeous trail with minimal noise, save the occasional powerboat. The trail with "Fossils" labeled on it cuts really close to the water; I hiked after a few solid days of rain, and my shoes were pretty wet. Then the trail disappeared into the water toward the end; it would have been possible to scramble up if I hadn't had a 35lb pack on with my son it it :) I recommend doing this hike when the lake is lower. The fossils in the rocks by the lake's edge were super cool.

Short trail- more like one mile if you walk the whole thing and not just along the water. Beautiful views, lots of rock scrambling, and awesome fossils! Not a good trail for kids or people with trouble walking as you do have to scramble up rocks and it can be very slippery. As a reminder- it is a felony to remove fossils or artifacts from federal and state lands!

Short little trail that starts just off the nature center located at the Sequoyah State Park. Really enjoyed hiking it with my 4 year old son. You actually have to hike part of the Three Forks Trail to get to it. You're mostly walking along a rocky bluff that runs near the lake. Really enjoyed the views.
