Across the street from my neighborhood, I use the garden and nearby park for running and walking the dogs. The gardens are very popular with photographers and Pokémon Go players.

It's not well marked. But it even warns you ahead of time. I'm pretty sure I was off the trail within the first five minutes. But was a lot of fun. Looking forward to going back.

I love these trails for close to home hiking/running, but tend to stay away during the summer months due to ticks/chiggers. The few times I’ve ventured on these trails between May and September I’ve returned home with a ridiculous amount of ticks. I frequent these trails December thru March with much less of a tick problem.

Great hike. With the switchback we hiked 6.0 miles. The switchback is real slim with overgrown areas but beautiful. Over all. Great trail system. 5/5

Gorgeous, easy trail. There are some rocks to climb and water to play in along the way. Fairly trafficked, and lots of trash honestly. I carried a lot of what I came across out with me.

Loved the trivia signs along the way. Nice areas to rest. Toddler did great. Saw some really interested armadillos, cacti, and red mushrooms.

Nice easy trail. Great way to start a day at Lake Murray.

The views while walking along this ravine the trail follows was beautiful, but having no shade made this hike very difficult, especially since it was during summer. Pay close attention to the trail because the markings is a bit off and can get confusing. If you get lost just walk along the creek and you should meet back with the trail in no time.

quite a bit of trash and heavily trafficked

needs to be cleared out lots ove overhang and a tremendous amount of ticks. if you come bring some high deet spray . I had over 100 tick bites using 40% deet. trails are really fun and the the plaid trail is very fast and flowy.

Nice, scenic trail. Perfect for birders. Spotted a painted bunting, a Carolina wren, a Mississippi kite, a brown thrasher, and a meadow lark during my hike. There’s a short adjacent trail that leads west of the tower, but it stops at some boulders and does not appear to go farther. It was a nice add-on, though. This trail is great for beginners, children, and dogs.

Great trail with skill levels for everyone. The trailhead is a bit hidden off to the left and down the hill as you enter the park. Dense forest with little breeze so go early.

Even though it was crazy hot during our hike it was still amazing, there are a lot of signs for snakes so please be careful, you will be hiking both up and down hill a lot though more up then down it seems like but the hike to the top although difficult turned out to be very beautiful if you go on a hot day please please please bring Lots of water. It’s very nice and has two lakes and great views there is wildlife and a lot of cactus so watch out.

Trail is clearly marked! There are a few dry creek crossings where the trail is a little tricky to spot though. Make sure to grab a stick to knock down spider webs if you go in the morning.

This is my local workout trail system. Nice for hiking or biking with woods, rocks and water. Such a gem to have in our community!

LOVED hiking this trail on and off! we went adventuring up and down the rockface and it was SO exhilarating with beautiful views, a couple of neat little caves and refreshing waters at the falls! also a big plus to have multiple options for camping! (cabins, tent, or rv)

Quick and fun, not much shade so bring sunscreen and recommend boots over shoes for some ankle support. Lots of ways to the top so you can decide how aggressive you want the climb to be.

Great trails

Easy trail for people that have physical disabilities. As long as you can walk you can do this trail. Really not much to see except for a wooded area.

Loved the scenery, great for dogs.

Good easy trail Very well maintained

Took a quick hike late in the afternoon when it was cooler. Lots of loose rocks and little to no shade but short and sweet with great views.

One of my favorite places to ride. It starts on 10th and council and connects all the way to the OKC river where you can continue all the way to the boat house with dedicated trails and loop back for a 30mi ride if you choose. This section here is around 8mi each direction. It’s very secluded with lots of dress and is very nicely maintained .......hope they keep it up!
They are continuing to develop it making more access points all along the trail for people who live in different parts. You pass a couple of nice lakes making the hole trip very rewarding.

A bit of overgrown areas made some of the hike more moderate but overall we spent about 15 miles in and out for hunting. Wanted to try a night of camping but opted to pass. Facilities are limited as are the surrounding areas but it’s still a great spot.

Amazing hike and rock climbing. Can get a bit dicey in the winter months. My fiancé proposed here (well on one of the mountains near the lake/tower area). It’s a magical place for me. Love it. Definitely a moderate hike/trail area.

Trails are easy when staying on the path.
Rocks adjacent to them - not so easy lol. I have hiked it twice and getting to the summit is easier in the spring than the fall. It gets dark quick so plan early and bring extra lighting.

Total time spent was a couple of hours each way to the summit of the mountain next to the tower. I’ve seen some folks fishing the lake there but I never got over to it.

Last trip was in January and it was very cold. Ice still on the rocks which can make for a dicey climb. Still very worth it.

My fiancé proposed on top of the mountain next to the tower, it was a perfect hike with an amazing sunset. Cold but beautiful.

Hiked this with my daughter on 6-12-18 and used the West Scenic loop. Several areas where the blackberry’s and brush have overgrown the trail. Also some areas where trees have blocked the path and you have to work your way around. I also think some of the white tree markers were burned off and haven’t been remarked. I hiked this last year around the same time and it was in much better shape. I will do it again next year but definitely take a machete to hack through some of the brush.

Great trail with plenty to see. Nice beginner trail for families who are starting out with hiking.

Kite trail is very enjoyable with the family, singles, or couples. The view is beautiful. It's a semi-long trail. You can climb or just follow the trail. It took us 3 1\2 hours to complete from beginning to end (including stop for lunch, and enjoying the view).
