This is a scenic loop showing the terrain and waterfall, very excellent stone work, and the big feature is the runestone. It's fascinating to contemplate the Vikings actually discovered this area over a thousand years ago.

This is an easy short walk giving a decent sampling of local plants, wildlife, and terrain.

Nice little hike in the area of the ruinstone.

It was very informative. The hike back out is steep, but worth it to get to see the different stones.

Nice, short educational hike.

Easy hike for the family and quite educational

Plenty of rain prior to our visit meant the waterfall yards from the runestone (and its protective shelter) was in full flow. For me, the waterfall was more interesting than the subject of the park.

The loop to the rune stone is a nice, although short, walk. Plenty of stairs and some wet stones as pavers makes this a trek for the able bodied. For me, this park is not so much a destination as a waypoint...a good place to let the kids get out of the car and stretch their legs.

We did not get to check out any of the parks other nature trails during our brief visit.

I have wonderful memories of the Runestone. It is one of 7 OK parks set for closure in August.

Nice little walk. Adds to the visit, gives you a better feel of the terrain than the hike to the stone.

Very unique, who ever suspected the Vikings made it to Oklahoma! The trail is very short down into a little canyon. Features a small waterfall and of course the engravings.
