this is a really nice very short walk. While you are off of a well traveled road so the road noise is a little loud it is still a very nice park. There are plenty of natural play areas for kids and it is a good loop. It is hard for me to call this a hike, but I will due to its hills, dirt path, and forest walk.
watch for trip hazards from tree roots and you will enjoy this easy stroll through the woods along the river.

Can’t imagine who wrote the description for this, but this trail is very easy, worn down and worn out. Not moderate or “lightly traveled”— instead a favorite with roving bands of high school kids and amorous couples. Portajohn in the parking lot of Narrows Reserve one of the worst I’ve been in in YEARS. Better to just go in the woods, IF you can find any privacy. Young swimmer picked up a flesh eating bacteria in the swimming hole here in 2017– with all the great hiking trails in the Dayton area, give this one a hard pass.
