If you’re up for a biking challenge this trail is for you! Had a great time biking this with my 12 year old son. There were parts we had to walk our bikes due to the difficulty of the inclines. This trail has a great variety of technical challenges that really pushes you. Be sure to have the right gear.
I recommend this trail.

There is a paved trail and paths that run throughout, which makes it as long or as short as you want. Be wary going off into any grass whatsoever - lots of ticks in the area.

The trail is paved and well kept but the benefit of this trail is the clean space for a quick walk. The views weren't impressive or inspiring, so this walk is best for exercise.

Great trail for day hiking or trail running. there are more trails in it than listed here, for a total of 6 or 7 you can do a easy 1 or 2 mile with fairly level grades or a 10 miler with ups and downs. it is beautiful and great for all skill levels. no camping though. i live close by and hike this a couple times a week check out the website for a full list of routes

Great hiking trails near home!
Glad to see it's been kept up and looks great!

Beautiful and fun! Lots of trails, great hike! Definitely got my feet wet twice crossing water. Loved it! Can't wait to come back. Trails were very well marked and trees had trail color code painted on them so you know you are still on the right trail. Must visit. Irritating that people hiked with their dogs off leash, and did not respond when I asked them to secure their dog before approaching mine. "My dog is so friendly!" They said. Well, The dogs did not like each other. Preventable. Put the leash on your dog

Beautiful, wooded trail. We did Spangler to Outer Trail, hopped on Strock Trail, then back to Outer Trail to Trillium to Spangler. Ended up being 4.3 miles with some good elevations. Too bad we had to hustle on the last half of the trail due to getting caught in a thunderstorm. Wished we could have enjoyed the second half more.

I don't know if it's the above average recent rainfall, but I wish that I would have known Saturday, 7/15/17 before attempting the Spangler trail portion that I would be forced to be in ankle deep water at multiple junctures along the trail. We didn't encounter the first crossing until well into the trail and once we crossed that we felt we needed to go forward rather than retrace our steps. Ended up with at least four places where it was difficult to avoid getting our shoes wet.

This trail was great because you can add miles or take some away depending on how you feel. The terrain changes and that was welcome because it is spring and muddy! There are areas of the trail in a field of tall grass that is well manicured and it was a break from the sinking in the mud.

use this trail each year while preparing for AT section hiking

nice but lots of nats!

There many trails in this area with a full range of difficulty levels. We visit twice a week to train for a section hike of the AT. We love that our small town has this beautiful park to utilize and enjoy.

Awesome trail - kudos to the VN owner and volunteers who've put it so much work on this private trail. Be prepared to climb some hills. A lot of hills. The downs are worth the ups though. Really lucky to have this close-by. 7/15 there are 2-3 trees down but I'm betting those don't stay long.

Love this trail...hidden gem. take the outer loop and saddleback trail, just over 3 miles. with a great view from the ridge. nice elevation changes and a great workout. Dogs love it and it's never too busy. worth the trip. Trillium trail has some steep climbs.

This trail was surprisingly fun for what we thought was going to be boring and flat. Some fairly big hills to climb but a few places to stop and rest.

Looks like a blast on a mountain bike, not so much for leisure hike. If you're looking for somewhere to hike I would recommend a hiking trail. If biking is your thing, bring it.

Super fun trail, most fun I've ever had on my bike. TIP: You need to turn down Access Rd which is a gravel road located off of Mechanicsburg Rd. to find the trail head.

Was in Wooster on business so did a search on AllTrails for a place to hike and found this gem of a park. Beautiful, well marked trails with streams, meadows, ravines, cliffs, and tons of singing birds. Bathrooms at the trail had were open and very clean and we'll stocked. There were even beautiful color trail maps in the box for hikers like myself who are unfamiliar with the trails. I spent the evenings at this park and Wogan I had found it a little sooner. Nice job Wooster Parks and Recreation.

The very best MTB trails in Ohio. Privately owned but you can use them for a small donation, which is a Honor box. I cant wait to take my 29er there.

Pretty technical trail run by some really awesome guys. Very fun but not for beginners.

This place is tricky to find. There is a no-name road east of Overton Road. I had a 4x4 and just drove up a hidden path until I found some trails. The trails are narrow and technical but a lot of fun. Come prepared for the worst.

Had a really nice time. The whole area allows for a lot of options in terms of what trails to use. Being the first nice day this year, it was pretty well occupied...quite a few families with kids, couples, dogs, runners, etc. Very diverse in terms of flat vs. decent elevation changes, 1 mi all the way to 10+ mi depending on continuing to follow other trail parts. There's honestly something for everyone here. Very enjoyable. We will be back again.
