Easy to get lost. Recomend having a compass.

Excellent terrain for all skill levels. A great walk in the woods.

Short and sweet.

A web of trails. Better to the All Trails' GPS if it's your first time.

This is actually two separate trails. Both are nice hikes, but there isn't really anything to see.

This place is absolutely beautiful. You definitely need to pay attention to which trail you are on though because it does get a little confusing. We ended up starting on the bridle trail like the map but never cut over to the castle trail and ended up going about 4.9 miles instead, which had some amazing sites. Kinda steep in places though but the scenery is so worth it! The castle is too cool, highly recommend this hike.

Stopped here to walk our llamas & stretch our legs on a cross country trip on I-90 from Wisconsin to New England. Midday on Sunday the parking lot had lots of space for our truck & trailer. Lightly trafficked path was a relaxing break for us all. Trail is flat, wide, and smooth, through mature forest, with several benches along its length. Other users included parents pushing strollers, dog walkers, joggers, as well as walkers like ourselves (minus the llamas). Park users were all very friendly. Restroom facilities were basic but clean.

Nice trail. Nothing really to it. Not lots to see.

Amazing, historic, scenic park. A must-see. Great for kids, too. We loved it!

Short but beautiful. can combine with Chagrin River trail for beach access and additional distance.

This is a great trail and is not boring with the turns, a few small bridges and hills. You may see black or gray squirrels, owls and wildflowers in the Spring!

This trail felt like a hero's journey. It had it all - respectable changes in altitude, winding paths, wooden bridges and the sights and sounds of nature. As you approach the end of the trail, the castle and crown for the best trail-ending surfaces (no more spoilers). I highly recommend this trail.

Nice short trail. Easy walking, however definitely NOT a trail for small children. Dramatic cliffs with no protection to prevent going over. (Should be some nice pictures in the fall foliage).

We took a nondescript trail from the castle to the Bridle Trail. It was extra hilly and root covered. And a lot of fun for the kids. Although there was a few times when I had to carry the two-year-old.

There are too many unmarked, rogue trails scattered throughout this park. Very popular and busy trails.

Overall the area is cool, but it's too busy for my liking.

Love it. This place has special meaning to me since I grew up so close to it.

Had a great time. Combined all the trails and completed the entire North Chagrin Reservation. There were quite a few times when we had to check our map because there are many connector trails that branch off, but it was part of the adventure. Great work-out! Will definitely come back again!

I liked the trail itself but there's so many random branches that lead nowhere or into a field that I was constantly checking my map, kind of took away from enjoying the trail

Trailhead was easy to moderate. The Squire Castle Gatehouse was worth checking out, and the Nature Center at North Chagrin had some interesting displays of local animals. Was able to add another decal to our walking sticks.
