Close to get to easy walk.Be careful on Hibbs road side, trees that were cut just up enough to make trip hazard.Nice and get to see parts of river not normally get to see except by canoe.

I road this trail around 2004, it is very nice ,a great trail mostly,
wide open country riding. one of my favorite.

Nice trail through woods with some inclines.

me and my son did it at night. whole new experience.

Very well maintained and marked!! Beautiful trail!

This is a beautiful trail. Some flat surfaces and then lots of rocks and roots. Walking along the water and the deep gorge........very shade covered. We went on my husbands 77th birthday and took our 17yr old grandson. We all thought it was BEAUTIFUL!!!
Hiked this after visiting Clifton Mill. So amazing!!

Some great views from this trail of Paint Creek and the rock formations of the cliffs

well maintained trail, low volume of people....super flat!!! found myself wishing for a hill to coast on down... definitely will go back

Took two families with teens and did the 2 mile loop. Just long enough to stretch our legs and a few small things to interest the kids. A nice way to enjoy an hour!

Beautiful hike back to the waterfall!

Easy hiking with beautiful views and the sound of the water was all around. Very peaceful and not very crowded for a weekend.

Great little trail. I took my 3 kids out and the two dogs. Has a small creek that we stopped and played in. Surprise playground for the kids as well. A bunch a paths. You can hike for a few hours or a few minuets. Trails a little muddy even without a lot of rain last week. I’ll definitely be back.

We love this trail with or without kids! The long trail is filled with ups and down that are sure to burn around 500 calories! Highly recommended!

Annoying bugs and flyers make the experience not good

Just Delightful. Trail is well maintained with both dirt and gravel surfaces. Begins with a short half mile trek through woods which provides plenty of canopy from direct sunlight. After a short walk the woods open into a beautiful marsh with a 1.5 mile loop. A variety of wildlife including deer, Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Canadian Geese, and a variety of ducks and other birds are present. The outing was completed with a spectacular view of a Bald Eagle flyover! If you like natural beauty and scenic leisure strolls then this trail is ideal.

So, to find the trail on park maps, it's called the Wellman Trail, not Horseshoe Falls and and the trail head runs off the Wellman Meadows Group Camp. Overall, the trail is a nice little walk, quite a bit of poison ivy though, so need to keep an eye out if you are allergic to it. The creek bed and falls are nice, not too big, but worth the short hike.

Great trail and enjoyed even on a hot day ! Lots of shade on this trail.

I hike the orange trail on a regular basis with my 1 year old daughter on a back pack carrier. She loves this trail. I chose this trail because it is heavily shaded by the Osage trees.

Great easy hike. Enjoyed it very much.

A nice quick one. Great canopy.

short quick hike. beautiful.

If you are up for a leisure stroll surrounded by some woodlands and a scenic marsh then this trail is for you! Not a lot of canopy, so I'd recommend an early evening walk as you can catch a great view of the sunset. Wildlife present included a deer, a variety of Egret birds, butterflies, other micilaneous birds and some fireflies. Not a trail for anyone looking for strenuous activity but perfect for a peaceful walk surrounded by nature.

A pretty walk. I am used to hills so this is flat . My granddaughter & I walked around most of it. No shade . Easy walk for the children.

Nice trail with lots of moderate elevation changes.

Don’t take your kids or pets on this trail! Path was poorly marked along most of the way. Also it’s not complete trail. You will be walking on the road for 2 approximately 1 mile segments. I don think we will be doing this again.

Wonderful hike! Very pretty. There are some steep inclines at some points. Shaded the entire hike.

Easy hike; well marked course. Both falls are worth the trip; definitely take a dip in the water.

Nice trail. Beautiful scenery, however it is not a 5 mile trail as stated in the app. It is a 1.3 it does connect with other trail but this particular trail is only 1.3. still very nice but just be aware if you are looking for something longer.
