Pretty but very poorly marked

This was a pleasant surprise—not a terribly long, so I wouldn’t call it a great workout, but it was serene and there was plenty to look at. We even collected ramps here . The trails aren’t well marked, but it was nice to explore.

Nice place. However looks like it has not been maintained in years. trails cut off from trees and decks destroyed. graffiti on trees.

The trailhead is not clearly marked at all. Once you pass the gate turn right and scramble up the muddy hill. For the most part the trail is marked with a yellow hen. The first picnic area with rotting tables is confusing to navigate; you clear that area by descending concrete stairs, then immediately turn right (trail marker in bushes to right). Good luck.

Rode the last three miles to Kent terminus. Very green, lots of shade, no bugs at 7 AM.

I wanted to like this trail, as it’s really close to my house. The first half is a mucky mess...not fun mud. Looks like the neighborhood kiddos have taken into building forts in the woods, so there are plastic lawn chairs, structures, trash. Second half is better; nice section under some pines. I think the park would really have something here if they invested some money in trail maintenance and proper drainage.

The best part of this trail is 200 steps, but it is closed... you can still sneak in and do them. They worth it

Beautiful trail! Gets pretty hilly around Bedford reservation (connects at the end of the hike and bike) and Cuyahoga valley national park. My long trail and most elevation to date!

As a first time visitor to this park, I am absolutely amazed how different the blue and the yellow trail are. Even though the signage is far from perfect on the yellow trail, it does exist, and someone has added some yellow spray paint to some of the trees which helps as well. The trail is a bit muddy right now, but it’s not terrible. The wildflowers on the forest floor right now are absolutely beautiful.

What is with Stow not having any signage on their trails? I hiked the whole blue trail and didn’t see any markings as to where the trail was. I’m glad I followed along on the app map, because I went off the trail onto other trails several times. This trail is also extremely muddy right now even though we haven’t had rain in days. It just isn’t draining well at all.

Trail conditions are good right now and with the grass starting to grow you can see the extra windy parts of the trail better by the river.

Out of all of the trails at this park, this one is probably the least used by the looks of it, but also somehow the best signed. It still can be a bit difficult to follow at times, but it’s better than the other trails in that regard. This trail does have a couple trees down, and one big bridge has been completely removed so it is a bit of a scramble to get across the stream.

I would love to give this trail a higher rating, as I love local community trails, but this one is very difficult to follow at times. The alltrails map for it is also a little bit off as well.

This was a good trail. Not too muddy even though all the snow just melted. At times it was overgrown and the trail markers were few and far between in a couple places though

Nice for hiking with weighted ruck while kids ride their bikes

Nice cool afternoon. Light to moderate traffic. Not too bad with so many people walking due to CV-19.
