Had a great time hiking this trail. Steep inclines up to the top of the cliffs. The mud and ice made some spots tricky to navigate since many parts of this trail are right along the cliffs edge, but the views were worth it! This would be stunning in the fall!

Beautiful. Parts of the trail were covered in ice right by the edge, so be very careful. It also was very muddy in parts. But the views and plethora of icicles made up for it.

Fairly challenging trail with lots of up/downs, steps, roots, and rocks. Well blazed. A few washed out areas along Queer Creek but new trail and markings to get around those areas.

Crowded

Nice winter walk.

Great trail. Foliage isn’t as good as it would’ve been a few weeks ago, but it is still beautiful. Not too strenuous, but beware of many stone steps. The steps could be slick if raining and many don’t have a railing so be careful if you have bad knees.

Relaxing afternoon trip for the family

There is so much to explore along the trail. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to enjoy every inch of this trail. My friend and I took about 3 hours on the trail.

Reviews are accurate - lots of cliffs, be sure to watch where you’re walking with the roots. Pretty views, easy trail, moderately trafficked. The trail was well marked. I’d recommend wearing hiking boots for ankle support and mud.

Great hiking trail! Easy for everyone.

Really a beautiful trail with both a riparian valley, a pretty lake and sweet little waterfalls. Lots of people on the trails but still worth it - fewer folks on the Gorge trail portion which was easy and broad. The lower part of the Buckeye trail does require a little navigation around mud and tree roots but the views of the rock cliffs and creek were just beautiful. Do this one!

Cool hike. Very pretty. Waterfalls weren’t running. Lots of paths and man made bridges and stairs

A good amount of variety on the trail with a decent number of interesting formations.
