Park at the Pine Lane Trailhead. Definitely a workout (especially for people just getting back into hiking) on the outward segment of the Buckeye Trail. Be prepared to hike to the top of the ridge. I used the bridle trail to loop back around and hiked back in on the Buckeye Trail. Also be prepared to cross a section of the creek. It was shallow enough that my boots didn't get too wet, but I can imagine after a heavy rain it could get a little trickier to cross.

Great trail for running/training. Nice few sceneries to be seen on the 4 seasons of the year!!

Relaxing path for a stroll, not many people. Benches at the top of the quarry are a nice place to stop and relax. Would recommend boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty

One of my all time favorite trails. It’s quiet and peaceful and so beautiful. There are lots of photo ops here. There are 2 rows of trees that are perfectly aligned. Everyone loves taking photos here. There’s also a mysterious home hidden in the woods. You will have to go off the path. There’s a beautiful pond as well with some beautiful wildlife. This trail isn’t too hard but it’s a little longer than most so just make sure you have the time to do the whole thing.

Great trail for runners! Numerous options for side trails to add on to your run/hike. Minimal mud and hills.

Nice trail, well groomed with moderate elevation changes.

Good, flat hike to start off the summer season.

Nice, easy kid and pet friendly trail for a great family outing.

Was a great outing and even though it was a bit chilly and wet everyone still enjoyed the views!

a little confusion with signage. we took "short loop" instead of "Boston trail". trail l is named "Boston run trail". this caused a double back and we didn't complete the "Boston run trail" for this reason.

Solid trails with great scenery. Minimal wildlife but good otherwise.

I would've given a better rating if more than half the trail wasn't along a busy road. The last part of the trail was more peaceful. Relatively flat except for a downhill at the beginning and a nice short climb at the end.

Although a short trail it was an amazing hike with gorgeous overlooks and geological formations.

Walked this trail. Well marked Buckeye Trail for first half clockwise to furthest point north, then need to follow the bridle trail which takes a little awareness of direction! Second half went quicker than first half until we came across a bridge out and had to get creative to cross the Creek. Fun scrambling in the undergrowth in the winter. Can imagine in the summer if the bridge isn't fixed it won't be so great....

Scenic and flat but very muddy. I loved the trail portions that weaved through the pine forests.

Nice hike, only saw one other person the whole time. Easy to navigate. Still pretty even though it’s all brown and dreary out. Not as muddy as I expected, even after the rain. Would still recommend some shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting dirty

on Tree Farm Trail

Moderate hike through former tree farm with views of current tree farm and Horseshoe pond. Very slick trails in the winter. Parking/trailhead nondescript and easy to miss from the road. Didn't pass any other hikers.

Nice clear trail with access to the old quarry which is pretty cool to see, also access to Deep Lock (deepest lock on old Ohio & Erie Canal.

Great for a quick loop or two! Beautiful pond off of one of trails!!

This is one of my favorite trails in the area that I can cross-country ski in winter and trail run with pack the rest of the year. If you do a brisk pace you can do this one in 45-50 minutes without killing yourself. In the summer I usually stretch the time to an hour. Its about 2 hours if you slow hike it. Can be muddy at times in the low spots. Can recall many years back having to stop and get ice off my skis before I could continue on the better parts of the trail when the weather was borderline.

Truly one of my go-to trails. Peaceful and beautiful scenery. Everyone we have ever passed or run into on the trail have been nice and polite. Tranquil.

Beautiful in snow and a great workout!

A nice and easy trail with a couple thick patches of pines that reach to the sky. Horseshoe Pond is just past the parking lot on the beginning of the loop and it’s pretty large. Passed a couple cross country skiers, saw some birds and deer. Middle of trail cuts along the Christmas Tree farm and in the end of the trail it runs along the road. Easy to follow and just under 3 miles!

A good and easy hike with lots of places to explore. Huge rock formations covered in moss are everywhere and there’s a decent overlook during the hike.
