a little confusion with signage. we took "short loop" instead of "Boston trail". trail l is named "Boston run trail". this caused a double back and we didn't complete the "Boston run trail" for this reason.

A great hike that has some hills but beautiful scenery and views too!

Make sure you go past the "End of Blue Hen Trail" and out another mile to the even better falls. Even today with all of the rain and snow lately the path was fine, but the water level was a bit higher than normal so we had to find alternate path.

A bit difficult (in comparison to other paths around) and muddy but an awesome trail!

Solid trails with great scenery. Minimal wildlife but good otherwise.

Awesome hike! FYI - A potion of the trail takes you behind the ski resort.

I would've given a better rating if more than half the trail wasn't along a busy road. The last part of the trail was more peaceful. Relatively flat except for a downhill at the beginning and a nice short climb at the end.

Great hike! The falls were amazing and really enjoyed that it was a loop. Definitely start at Stanford house and go all the way to the falls!

us there went on a hike here at buckie trail. It was beautiful and very pretty. Even when there was snow on the ground the trail was still visible.

I appreciate all the directions and the instructions on this site
We’ve done this park so many time s I didn t. Even know this trail existed and how to find it !!

Starts off with a huge hill up and then a huge hill down then the trail is over

A great lightly traveled trail with a major payoff at the end and plenty of challenge along the way. Wear waterproof boots!

Walked this trail. Well marked Buckeye Trail for first half clockwise to furthest point north, then need to follow the bridle trail which takes a little awareness of direction! Second half went quicker than first half until we came across a bridge out and had to get creative to cross the Creek. Fun scrambling in the undergrowth in the winter. Can imagine in the summer if the bridge isn't fixed it won't be so great....

Not too difficult. Lots of ups and downs. Nice hike.

The stream crossing on the way back, not even a mile from the end, had a lot of trees down. There looked to be 3 or 4 huge trees down right at the crossing and that was more challenging than the stream. It was definitely a good work out with the mud on the bridal trail portion.

Very pretty and easy hike

Great inclines. A little muddy. Pleasant changes of scenery.

Great place to see trees chewed up by beaver! Plenty of parking, shelter with restrooms and seating. Beautiful!!

Scenic and flat but very muddy. I loved the trail portions that weaved through the pine forests.

Beautiful and relaxing with opportunity for hours of riding!

Nice hike, only saw one other person the whole time. Easy to navigate. Still pretty even though it’s all brown and dreary out. Not as muddy as I expected, even after the rain. Would still recommend some shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting dirty

on Tree Farm Trail

Moderate hike through former tree farm with views of current tree farm and Horseshoe pond. Very slick trails in the winter. Parking/trailhead nondescript and easy to miss from the road. Didn't pass any other hikers.

I live close to this trail. It is closed due to a renovation project that is underway now. There are three bridges that have been close for many years and deemed unsafe. These bridges will be removed and one new bridge built. They are removing trees now and re-routing the hiking route. You can still access the connector trail from the bike and hike to the tow path however.

Went on a group hike - a bit muddy and slick in places. Trekking poles are a good idea right now. Definitely bring a change of shoes

Good trail but muddy and a bit hard to follow. I’d say it’s more moderate than easy due to inclines and declines.

Just hiked the inner loop today. The extended loop was closed off due to storm damage. There were quite a few trees down in that area and the trail became unrecognizable.

It is definitely muddy and challenging with the elevation changes. Luckily it was still colder today, because when it warms up the mud will be crazy! I’m not a huge fan of bridal trails when the weather is warmer and wetter.
