great for a run, boring for scenery.

Great hike with our 6 year olds. Good variety of trail surfaces. But what are those brick structures in the second loop? Trying to find the answer online.

Beautiful hike, but some parts smell of the sewer and be prepared to encounter a lot of people, sometimes smoking along the way.

I love this trail one of my favorites

Very poorly marked trail. we followed the green stripes designating the trail as detailed on the map at Southwest Hospital and ended up at Bagley and Big creek Blvd, two miles east of our starting point. making our "short" 1.5 mile walk with our two year old grandson a grueling trek for all of us. We never saw the lake, which was our whole reason for going. Someone needs to put some signs up and create a map that makes sense. Very poorly thought out. We are veteran hikers with over 50 years experience on trails all over the country and have never had problems like this before.

Not such a clean or safe park anymore.

Beautiful area that you wouldn't expect to have near downtown Akron. The trail is always busy but is mostly flat with the exception of some stairs you can choose to walk or bypass. I would rate it easy but worth the trip. There are lots of other trails in the same area so it's good for distance.

Great trail to spend your day on. I most enjoy getting away from the crowds a few miles in and looking for plants and birds. the lake is fantastic at the far end, and there are lots of wonderful things to see along the way. It can be muddy in spots and sometimes the trail is nearly in the lake, but nothing too bad.

Really amazing trail. One of the best in hocking hill area. Beware of sharp cliffs. You can hear the water fall around the rim. Well marked but can be a bit tricky during rain.

today was my first time on this trail and I loved it! Challenging for me, but doable and beautiful!

Nice trail we went rock climbing too
Got off the trail a little. It was easy to find way back

Been back there so many times. Beautiful, quiet, a peaceful place to think. Going off the trail to explore new areas is just as fun and staying on it. But be careful you dont accidentally wander onto the mountain biker trails. Almost got taken out a couple times by mistake!

Nice hike. Easy. There is a bald eagles nest you can see

Very nice trail which is maintained well. Paved trail which serves for both waking and bike riding. A few side trails which allow easy access to some off the main trail sites and access to the river. Saw a variety of birds, squirrels, and ducks but I'm certain other animals are present. Great place for a picnic as well. Can easily make a nice day outting event.

The trail is paved and well maintained. More suitable for a short bike ride unless you are looking for off road biking. A lot of traffic on trail with other's walking, jogging, or biking. Trail is dog friendly so a plus for pet owners. Would not recommend for enthusiasts looking for the off road trek surrounded by nature and wildlife as this trail although nice is not that type of trail.

Superb trail quality, back side of perimeter trail tends to get muddy when raining though. They’re introducing gravel to these problem areas though. Great for trail running. Nice facilities to go along with it.

Beautiful park. Worth the trip Lots of rock formations and the river was raging the day we went which was quite impressive. Would be total 5 starts except for the sewer and sewer smell that accompanies them. But hey that’s life. We will be back.

Enjoyed this rustic, charming hike. Good hills and much to see. Good for kids and pets.

What lovely trails! The information here isn't quite right though. There's 2 bike trails that total nearly 10 miles. There's 3 gravel hiking trails totalling about 3 miles. It's kind of eerie seeing 100s of chesnut tree skeletons all over the hillsides, some still standing, but a beautiful sight nonetheless.

Rail to trails. Flat, blacktop, scenic and historical stops.

I spent a lot of time here on the trails as a teen. Now I enjoy hiking it as an adult. My favorite time to hike this trail is in the fall.

Waterfalls was running high. Beautiful!

Easy trail!

Did an Easter hike with the family and was very impressed by the trails! The many mountainside waterfalls were beautiful and I would love to go back!

Whitetail trailhead was a little hard to find. Easy, quiet gravel trail through wooded area and alongside a creek. The small lakes are nice, fishermen were active. Homes are visible from most of the trail. Many trees down.

Great variety with hills and nice views!

took my dog this morning and it was a good time. didnt enjoy the trailhead part that winds along the road, a bit too close to the trail and rather loud. The trail itself was nice and hilly, and parts of the trail were quite muddy.

Nice to take advantage of the decent weather. Pretty muddy track but still fun.

Easy trail, beautiful views, traveled over 2 hours for this trail and was well worth it! We loved exploring all the trails, beautiful park!

Unbelievably muddy hike in early spring. This trail runs through an study area in which trees were cut in 1996 to promote growth of oaks and wildflowers. Kind of a sad site in the winter. Decent elevation gain with access to Buckeye Trail and My Mountain overlook.
