Went there Friday morning. Linked the Cemetery to the Fern and then the Hemlock trails. Good shape might have been muddy but the trails were frozen. New signs make navigation really easy. I posted a picture of the parks trail map in the photo section

A couple of down trees to navigate around. The trail is beat in for the most part but it is very poorly marked between intersections. Hike wise it's a decent easy trail to take a hike on.

Nice trail with some good variety of elevations that is well marked, limited parking but wasn’t very busy. There are no restrooms at the trail head. The outlook is an amazing view. We took the orange and blue loops counter clockwise and saw the outlook last but going down was pretty steep. Next visit we will go clockwise around the loops (easier on my knees).

Good trail. We have had some wind storms and it was still well maintained. Steep climbs at time. No dogs as it is nature preserve. Leaves made it a little slippery.

Nothing special about this place

Great trail. Definitely some elevation changes and switchbacks that will get your breath. Gorgeous lakes tucked away in the hills.

Horrible trail. No trail markings whatsoever. You cant tell if you’re on private property or on trail. Very swampy. Definitely do not recommend. Nothing to see.

Great trail, very well marked. Great views as well.

The trail was narrow and leaf covered but the bright orange and blue blazes were well placed. Loved the views from the top of the knob.

I am still laughing at this hike. It is a loop according to the map but the text says it is an out and back. From the parking lot, it is very clear where the trail is. Once you get past the end of the pond at the dam, it is very unclear. But we trudged on, bushwacked our way to the road and walked back to the parking lot. Our dog had a great time, and we are good sports, but I doubt we will take this hike again.

Trail was just over 5 miles from the parking lot. Jacobs ladder trail had one overlook that was nice. Christmas rocks was just a walk through the woods with some tough inclines. Not much to see other than forest. Much nicer trails in the area I'd hike before this one.

Jacob’s Ladder was a good climb and the outlook above was bursting with colors. Traveled with my hiking group of about 40 a few days ago.

I went on this Saturday and it worth it. Covered orange and blue. Fall colors are starting. I enjoyed much.

climbed the Jacob's ladder overlook/ orange trail this morning, fall colors are starting to come in so really pretty. trail is pretty steep but the climb is worth it

Day off, so did a sort of figure 8 loop: Orange, Blue, then back up to Jacob's ladder. Great day for it! The trail is in good shape, with the leaves coming into peak fall colors. Had #coffeeoutside too!

Fairly close to home and walk there several times a year. Nothing to difficult but I always enjoy a good cup of coffee from Jacobs Ladder.

Nice trail. Lots of hill climbing. It has a spectacular view from Jacob’s Ladder

Short but nice! Just getting back to hiking after several years, I was looking for a few easy, short trails. Nicely wooded and shaded, I had the place to myself.
