My favorite trail in this area! Love the multiple stream crossings!

Hiked here again today. Very muddy in spots. Nice local trail along the Great Miami River.

I hiked the whole trail, not too many complaints. Some parts get really muddy and slippery after rain.

Easy trail to run not very many people at the right time

This trail is beautiful, but very hard to follow. There aren’t very many trail markers and there are many break off points. Thankfully this app gives you a guide or I may have been stuck in the cold longer than anticipated

Has a really nice creek that runs through the park, not a very big park. But you can take your dog's as well.

Super easy, peaceful, and kind people everywhere. Can get very busy on nice days.

I have hiked this trail a few times and do like it. As another review states it is longer than 3.2 miles though. The first time I went with my mom and she was getting very tired . Still a good trail though.

Great trail!

This is more than 3.2 miles on the orange trail. Also three large trees were down.

Great, mild trail. Kid and dog friendly for sure. Half prairie and half forrest terrain. No need for special hiking shoes unless there is inclement weather.

Best hiking trail you can get without leaving town.

We frequent this trail, the southern portion is fairly crowded but northern part especially from Morrow to Yellow Springs is relaxed and serene.

Love this trail! Great mix of hills and flat ground.

It's a nice exercise trail, not much to see other than the backs of houses. In the late fall you will see tons of squirrels getting ready for winter.

As a wheelchair user, I found it extremely easy to navigate.

Nice trail. Small obstacles around the creek but nothing major. I took my dog and had no problems. Quite a few people which is nice when hiking solo.

Nice combination of hills and level ground, meadows and forests.

This trail was beautiful to jog through, but, with it being a bike trail also, I found it to be pretty dangerous when the bikers didn't make themselves known as they approached from behind and I believe it would be more efficient if they had separate trails for jogging and bikes. There's also need for more signs for indication, because there's mini trails that lead out from the main trail to who knows where and hormonal teenagers or adults even will take advantage of that when this trail is family oriented. I spotted two today making out by the river and while the scenery is nice, it's not the place for that and it suggest that security needs to be upped. Until they try to improve this trail I'll be jogging on down another.

A nice 3+ mile loop, almost entirely shaded. A nice field in the middle, with a small pond. Lightly trafficked which is fantastic imo. Stay quiet, enjoy the sounds of nature...I walked right up next to a frog, saw a white tail deer just feet from me, and a cotton tail rabbit. This trail is now on my favorites list.

My favorite hiking spot!

kid friendly :)

Well marked, great day and beautiful walk.

Nice trail with lots of shade. Trail follows river for a bit and has some good hills. Nice outing.

Park at the bend of Runnymede Rd off of thornhill Dr and take the trail head for Houck Stream Trail. Forest type meandering trails. Great hike

Trail markers are difficult to follow.

Beautiful young forest and prairie with interesting historical signs along the Argonne Forest portion of the trail. I went with my dog in the early morning and no one else was on the trail. I was a little disappointed in the amount of trash that was littered in the small creek, took away from the beauty of it.

Nice little trail through bits of forest, around a small lake, and areas of wild bird-friendly tall grass.

There are six other trails around this small park, as well as three horse trails. There are a few nice campsites to rent here, too, and a shelter for people to have family reunions/bbqs, etc.

Never gets remote, but is decent length and has pretty parts. Certain areas are arid and not typical Ohio woodlands. Take the black loop to the yellow, and back to the black. Its decent length.
