From about the 2.4 mile to 3.4 mile mark this trail follows along Atlantic Avenue without a designated bike lane or sidewalk. Wearing bright colors and using lights and flags is always recommended for personal safety when sharing space with motor vehicles. There are several other road crossings along the way. Cross safely and enjoy being out on the trail!
Accessibility: This asphalt trail is estimated to typically be at least 7 feet wide. There are barriers in the middle of the trail in some locations near road crossings cutting the width in half for a short moment. The slope is estimated to be flat to gentle and range from -2% (downhill) to 1% (uphill) grade. There is not ADA-compliant car parking at the trailhead. There are 4 ADA-compliant car parking spots with 2 shared access aisles at the small paved lot at the 2.4 mile mark, marked here with a waypoint.
