From about the 2.4 mile to 3.4 mile mark this trail follows along Atlantic Avenue without a designated bike lane or sidewalk. Wearing bright colors and using lights and flags is always recommended for personal safety when sharing space with motor vehicles. There are several other road crossings along the way.
