I live about one mile from this fall and it will be difficult to move someday! This waterfall flows different each day..if you want a full roaring loud fall you’ll simply need to visit her after we have had some rain. It can get very “maid of the mist”-like down there so bring a jacket if visiting in the fall!

Very short trail on a boardwalk. The falls are okay. Recommend to go just to see it.

A very easy trail with some gentle hills through heavily wooded areas. High traffic, popular with families and runners, therefore not great for looking at the wildlife, but otherwise very pleasant.

beautiful, but be warned no where to exit the River.

It was a nice place to walk, if you follow this red trail about 50% blacktop 25% gravel 25% grass, the grass was well maintained,BUT if your going to follow this trail make sure you take your phone to follow the trail on the map , it’s not marked very well in the park and at a couple points you will just walk through a grassy area to get to the next section plus there were a lot of other trails people had made going who knows where, all and all I had fun, woods/gravel part is hilly and has some rock stairs and a few wooden bridges, if you park where this app sends you ,,,,after you walk about a 1/2 mile or so you will walk through another parking area, lol had me confused , but follow this map

Very short hike to see a waterfall.

Love it!!

The trail takes you through the Wilma H. Schiermeier Olentangy River Wetland Research Park of Ohio State University. It is an easy hike that explores the wetlands research facility. It's a gravel trail that can connect to the Olentangy River Trail to make a longer hike. A great place for birding and nature. Guided tours are available on request that will allow you walk onto the boardwalks on the wetlands. Nestled in the heart of OSU's north campus, this trail is a fun hour or two for families and nature enthusiasts to learn about the research being done by the School of Environment and Natural Resources department at Ohio State University.

I really enjoy walking the loops in this park. It is an excellent place for nordic walking and doing a quick fitness round for 60-90 minutes. There is a pleasant mixture of woods and fields with the possibility of spotting deer, raccoons, squirrels, cardinals, blue jays and other birds. A large part of the field is left to grow naturally and produces many different wild flowers. The park is probably the best kept secret in west Columbus

Went during a really cold day in December, and still loved it! Saw Turkeys, Red Cardinals, and a variety of other animals. Can't wait to go when it warms up!

I've hiked this short trail many times. It's quite the gem especially considering it's location. Deer and turkey frequent the trail. There is plenty of poison ivy along the sides of the paths so keep an eye out for that also. Easy relaxing hike.
