Beautiful and quiet - not a lot of people on this trail on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Went off the parkway path into the woods - climbed some of nature’s stairs. Quite serene

The stairs are a really great workout, but the rest of the trail is so-so. It can get very muddy and there's not any spectacular scenery that I've found. Even so, I keep coming back for those stairs!

it was cool: lots of trail options, but you can still tell your in a city.

Very poorly marked trail. we followed the green stripes designating the trail as detailed on the map at Southwest Hospital and ended up at Bagley and Big creek Blvd, two miles east of our starting point. making our "short" 1.5 mile walk with our two year old grandson a grueling trek for all of us. We never saw the lake, which was our whole reason for going. Someone needs to put some signs up and create a map that makes sense. Very poorly thought out. We are veteran hikers with over 50 years experience on trails all over the country and have never had problems like this before.

Cute trail in the winter, definitely will have to come back in the warm weather. Loved the boardwalks.

not a lot of birds Wildlife but a crap load of people but that's a good thing because that's what they're for people to walk around not so much good birding very bad for that

This is not a moderate difficulty single trail. It's actually a collection of short choppy easy trails that are poorly marked. The stairs are by far the best part of this trail. The rest I could have done without.

Good workout with those steep stairs! We went in the spring after the snow melted so the trails were pretty muddy - not sure how they are in other seasons.

I gave this a three star because I am sure some people would like this trail, but not me. The trail is nice, but all paved. I prefer to be in the woods on dirt. I prefer hiking shoes to be recommended. This is a running and biking trail. Lots of traffic from joggers and people riding bikes. Again, maybe this will appeal to some people, but not me. I made it a mile in before I lost interest. I turned around and never finished.

Fun hike for adults and kids. Cool to walk where others walked 2000+ years ago!

Not much of substance here. The "trail" mostly borders the road, the lake isn't that spectacular, and the loop is short.

Great trails with fantastic views of the river and wetlands associated with the valley!

I like this one cuz of the boardwalks. Also, they are on some marshy areas which makes it good for birdwatching.

Great trail. definitely makes you get some exercise! I definitely recommend this trail for everyone, but if you are bringing smaller children, keep an eye on them while near ledges or cliffsides for not all sides have fences.

This trail was an excellent blend of hills and flat terrain. The scenery was spectacular even in the dead of winter. It was quite muddy in spots because of melted snow and recent rain, so make sure to wear proper gear such as waterproof boots. We are looking forward to coming back in the spring with leaves on the trees and in the fall when the colors are peak.

Large steps have been opened and they are great! It was such a beautiful view and a great work-out. There are always tons of people on them, yet they don't feel too crowded.

Ok trail if your just looking for some light walking and exercise. The trail is nestled in the city of Shaker so if you're someone like me that likes places more off the beaten path this is not going to be the place for you.

love it! the large steps are still closed, but the rest of the trail is still accessible. beautiful views.

This trail is not moderate, easy as can be. Almost all flat. It's a decent loop around the lake. You'll see a lot of wildlife and hear landscaping equipment at every turn. It's a nice inner city nature retreat though!

Peaceful, quite and relaxing. Great place to to the daily stress off.

Lovely short loop located at Big Creek near Lake Isaac.

I actually like these trails better without the beloved steps! the climb to Fort hill is much more gradual and enjoyable that way. You still get the rad vistas of cedar point and the rocky tiver, too. as others have said, the trails beyond the just the hill have a feeling of being very remote very quickly. don't leave out the mount Pleasant loop either. far less traveled and a real hoot
