Awesome trail

So relaxing and a good run .

This park is a wonderful place to find solitude. Plenty of wildlife to cross your path as you make your way around the loop. In the middle is the Monarch Trail where you will meet many types of insects. Great escape close to the city with plenty of enjoyable views over looking the lake.

Great place to enjoy nature and get lost in thought. A boardwall and a few rought trails make it a perfect mix.

Nice paved trail not too much traffic on the trail but you do pop out to cross a busy street. Lot’s of boardwalks and a few bridges. Good information signs throughout. I thought the trail was clearly marked and easy to follow. Abram’s Lake was a heavily grassed and reeded over depression rather than a lake. Pretty nonetheless.

love walking this one.

Good for beginners. Also nice if you don’t have a lot of time that day but want to get out and walk
Ducks on lake are fun to watch

It's a well groomed, easy trail with beautiful views of the city and lake. Lots of birds and wildflowers make it an enjoyable walk.

The trail has some very nice views an a good portion is paved, but 1/3 of the trail is dirt and poorly marked. The surrounding park is very nice play, especially for kids. The full loop isn't quite worth it though.

Great view of the city and the lake- and beautiful wildflowers too!

Beautiful and quiet - not a lot of people on this trail on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Went off the parkway path into the woods - climbed some of nature’s stairs. Quite serene

Quick, Easy trails with good views of the city on the west side of the trail head with a nice seating area. No dogs but it’s refreshing to not have to fit everyone to be there. Wild life if you pay attention. Bench throughout the area to just enjoy being outside and watching birds.

it was cool: lots of trail options, but you can still tell your in a city.

Very poorly marked trail. we followed the green stripes designating the trail as detailed on the map at Southwest Hospital and ended up at Bagley and Big creek Blvd, two miles east of our starting point. making our "short" 1.5 mile walk with our two year old grandson a grueling trek for all of us. We never saw the lake, which was our whole reason for going. Someone needs to put some signs up and create a map that makes sense. Very poorly thought out. We are veteran hikers with over 50 years experience on trails all over the country and have never had problems like this before.

I walked this trail for the first time - in the cold - and loved every second. Having that awesome view of the lake makes this trail second to none. A+++.

No dogs...the views are nice but each lap is only 1.5 miles. Think I like edge water better.

Cute trail in the winter, definitely will have to come back in the warm weather. Loved the boardwalks.

Nice short hike right by my house - paved in some areas and forested in others. Great if you're in the area and want to get an hour or so of a walk in. Saw a hawk as soon as I got out of my car and almost always see deer. In the summer expect it to be very busy as there are baseball fields.

I gave this a three star because I am sure some people would like this trail, but not me. The trail is nice, but all paved. I prefer to be in the woods on dirt. I prefer hiking shoes to be recommended. This is a running and biking trail. Lots of traffic from joggers and people riding bikes. Again, maybe this will appeal to some people, but not me. I made it a mile in before I lost interest. I turned around and never finished.

Not much of substance here. The "trail" mostly borders the road, the lake isn't that spectacular, and the loop is short.

nice second half of a walk from the first from Isaac Lake

I like this one cuz of the boardwalks. Also, they are on some marshy areas which makes it good for birdwatching.

Ok trail if your just looking for some light walking and exercise. The trail is nestled in the city of Shaker so if you're someone like me that likes places more off the beaten path this is not going to be the place for you.

This trail is not moderate, easy as can be. Almost all flat. It's a decent loop around the lake. You'll see a lot of wildlife and hear landscaping equipment at every turn. It's a nice inner city nature retreat though!

Peaceful, quite and relaxing. Great place to to the daily stress off.

Cute little nature preserve nestled in the middle of a couple busy roads! I went here with the intention of hiking, and if you're looking for a longer hike then this is not the place to go. However, if you're looking for a cool little place to casually walk around and observe a refreshing splash of nature in the middle of suburbia, then this is a good place to go :) They take care of the place very nicely, although I thought their trail markers were a little vague. I would definitely go again though and recommend it to others. Just wouldn't be top on my list of places for a good 30 minute hike.
