Tons of spiderwebs across the trail but overall a really fun hike!

This is paved and is frequented by bikers. It's less hiking and more walking. Sometimes there isn't much shade.

Quiet trail in the middle of a busy neighborhood. Lots of trees. Very hilly.

Very shady. Great walk on a hot day.

Decent spot close to town You will be able to hear cars however so not very secluded. Nice view of Ohio river. No accesible water source.

This is a great trail for walking, but the numerous steep inclines make this trail unsafe for running.

This is a good mix of paved, gravel, and dirt trails all linked together. I live right down the street so it’s my go to place.

More for bikes than for hiking.

Decent trail but really poor markings make it difficult to know if you’re going the right way. Hard to find the starting point as well. A friend had to show us.

Nice trail but the poor markings really take away from an otherwise nice hike through the woods.

Nice place for a quiet peaceful walk.

This App stopped working twice during this hike. I was also running a different app and it is about 3.4 mile hike and the equivalent of 31 flights of stairs. Watch your feet— lots of roots/rocks/etc. overall enjoyable. Nearly all in the shade. Surprisingly, no bugs! Well-deserving of the moderate rating. Lots of ups and downs. Would do again!

The trail is nice and wide - except for several eroded places that narrowed the trail to about 12 inches wide. (That was probably the most exciting aspect of this trail.)

Four stars for lots of natural surface trail and great off-in-the-forest feel in city (on the trails that aren't hugging the park boundary.) Expect some mud if there's been rain, and trails are sometimes steep and eroded and root-covered. I like it because I'm out to hike in the woods not stroll in the park. Red outline trail on map misleading, departs from actual trail system a lot. The bottom part of the 'loop' isn't a trail at all. BTW, all the holes the other person mentioned were NOT snakes holes, snakes can't dig.

Nice short loop. Went on a dry day after a dry week. I bet this one gets pretty muddy though.

Well marked trail. a few hills if you get winded easily. overall pleasant.

This was a nice trail one you reached the creek. Before that, the trail kind of looks like an old service road and a large portion of it runs right next to people's houses. However, the creek is great. It's not deep, but it's perfect to dip your feet in and cool off!

This trail is great for biking but not for hiking or dog walking.

This was a nice trail. I did infact see wildlife; a squirrel and bird. Usually with my dog I never see wildlife but I did today.

Near 100% shade, a few tiny waterfalls, moderate traffic, nothing impressive. if you live near by go for it but don't make it a special trip

Nice trail. We did Beechwood to Furnas to Quarry to the stone steps (down ) to Red Oak and it totaled just over 4 miles. Single track most of the way. Lots of tree roots, rocks and some mud (even though it’s been very dry). Mostly gradual increases and decreases in elevation except for the stone steps ( over 200) which are quite steep. Keep in mind if you chose to go down the steps you will eventually have to go back up although much more gradually. Would do again.

Good trail, a few short steep hills but not too bad. Some nice falls along the way. We enjoyed it even though traffic was heavy.

nice mix of asphalt, dirt/gravel, some elevation changes, not too tough

Decently challenging hike with rocky hills and a creek crossing. Nice views of river. We encountered several other dog owners and all but one had their dogs off leash.

The lack of markers makes it impossible to follow this trail.
