beautiful trail. saw some deer smoking weed in the woods. just the right amount of elevation change.

Pros: good distance for a quick, easy hike.
Cons: Trail is not well marked, there are numerous side trails, and in some areas the trail is so rarely traveled, it is difficult to tell what is the trail.

Great trail to run. Very difficult to run, lots of rocks and roots. Got lost a few times. This app was very useful to fin my way. Watch out for the stone steps.

I loved hiking here, it was definitely really muddy, but the trails are well marked and we only ran into a few other people. Great to have options for hiking while not having to drive too far! Not super challenging in terms of elevation, but still super fun!

I loved this little hike, I did a few loops around and made it into about 6.5 miles in all. Definitely some steep parts, but overall very easy. I agree that you can still hear the sounds of the road and trains, but that didn’t really bother me. I thought the paths were very well marked, and my dogs loved it!

Love this trail. Great in all seasons. Can get really wet though.

A good bit of the trail was cut off due to hunting, but the trail portion I was allowed to hike was beautiful if not a little muddy from recent rains.

This park rocks. Usually there aren’t many people here. New parking lot is nice.

Awesome trail for a beginner or advanced hiker. I recommend a hiking stick.

Lots of trails closed for restoration

more on easy side than moderate, nice trail, nice ohio river overlook

I managed to hike about 3 miles there today. A lot of the trails were closed due to hunting today. I’ll definitely visit again.

I enjoyed the trail. I should have printed a map before going. I parked in the lower lot and didn’t see a map there. There were quite a few trail intersections and I wasn’t sure which trail to take.

A few trails need to be updated but overall a great park!

My wife, son, and I headed out to do this trail today as our first local-Cincinnati hike after discovering AllTrails. The distance and altitude looked fair for us, and it was, but the trails were not marked very well at all. The beginning portion is all good, aside from the fact that you technically start at Trailhead H and not G, as the name would suggest. The early portion all followed the route nearly perfectly but we had a lot of issues identifying the balance of the trail once you cross of the Trail Ridge Rd. We never actually ended up on the correct course. By the time we tried 3 different routes, we just stuck on the one we were on and came out at a clearing on Furnas Ridge Rd. That being said, the quality of the trail was outstanding but even a GPS guided route was extremely difficult to follow, even zoomed all the way in. As they say, there's no wrong turns on a good hike, but this one, as shown, is quite difficult to follow.

Beautiful easy hike with very cool houses along the way.

Saw my first rufous sided towhee on the Open field part of the hike. There was a group of them hanging out in a vine covered tree. They weren't shy, but finally got fed up with my watching them. Great day for seeing pollinators of all kinds gather the last remains of nectar.

Easy stroll even if not prepared to hike. Great for families and beginning hikers.

This trail is great if you have small children. I've been on this trail before but I stayed up high on the trials. Today we stayed low in the shallow creek bed. We took it all the way down and from the distance could see a small pool like area. Got down there and it was mill creek as far as the eye could see both ways!!! It's shallow enough at the point to walk across. Came to the waist of my 6yr old! Bring a change of clothes if you plan to take the creek bed down to the larger creek.

Mt. Airy is a great park to visit, but the trails could really use some work. The trail markers are baffling, and there doesn't seem to be a good map available. Some areas of the forest have beautiful old beech trees, but other parts are so choked with honeysuckle that you can't see more than 15 feet off the trail, and Japanese stilt grass has overgrown a lot of the trail. The stone steps are amazing, but the honeysuckle really needs to be cut away or they will soon be impassable.

Loved walking this trail, but I had trouble figuring out what trail we were on once we got in there. We wanted to do the loop but ended up on the creek trail instead. We had to walk back to our car on the road to the parking lot.

Nice trails for an urban park
