Overall very good trail - great cardio workout. Several of the inclines are pretty steep. Probably best to have some poles

This is my go to trail for training and today was brutal with the temp around 18F and windchill at 3. It was a lot worse on Bald Hill. My phone battery lost charge so I didnt get to complete a recording and water bottle froze. This is not to hard of trail once you have done Sugarloaf a few times. There were some new blowndown trees today and some of the streams were up running down paths but normally these trails are pretty clear.

Strenuous ascent with clearer markings than I expected to find after reading the comments. Got caught in a downpour for the descent which was pretty steep and required utilizing the trees for some footing help. Dog was whooped before we even summited which felt like a great success. Parked at the disc golf parking area and walked over to the camp ground where the trailhead was due to it being closed for the winter.

Some sections of mud, but overall very well kept. Hiked with 4 children (youngest age 4) with no problems. The outlook views were spectacular, much better than I would have expected, and with recent rains paint creek looked like a river down in the valley.

The out and back trail is 5 miles. Again not sure where these numbers come from on here, but FIVE NOT 3.9. Aside from inaccurate expectations due to the apps information, I had a lot of fun on this trail and just looped on around when I got to the end! This was quite enjoyable, and relatively easy.

I dunno where 2.1 miles comes from but that's not accurate for this specific trail. It's a beautiful view, and we'll worth the stroll through the woods to get there.

Lovely trail for an afternoon hike. Great views and I reckon a couple waterfalls if it weren’t winter.

A wonderful hike for when you need a bit of physical exertion. Beautiful and quiet.

Took this hike today with my wife and daughter. It was winter time but hike was well worth it. Look out points are beautiful for around the area. Bathrooms were available at the end of the trail which was nice. They were clean and well maintained. Definitely worth a visit if your in the mood for a small hike.

Very pretty trail. Not marked well but good enough to get through.

Enjoyable hike on well maintained trail. Ran into one of the Rangers maintaining the trail. He was very friendly and informative. Definitely coming back again.

Great hike. The grade is challenging in spots with loose dirt and rocks. Recommend having a map with you.

Check out my recording if you are interested in a long hike. I got in a 20 mile day with minimal overlap. Not many places in Ohio you can pull this off.

good trail to run. Spent the whole day trying most trails out. Would do this one again.

Nice place to walk for just a little stroll especially if you’re already in the area checking out the National Park Site

We have never been to Buzzard’s Roost Nature Preserve. The trail was very well maintained and had very scenic views. We will be back to do another trail soon. Tip: The South Point Lookout Trail is actually a 2ish mile loop.

A little bumpy from tree roots. But not a bad ride.

Fun trail, my two year old hiked almost halfway through before he needed in the hiking carrier. It’s got some hills but everything is well maintained and marked. The fall foliage is starting and the creek beds were dry. Hopefully we’ll get back and it won’t be so dry!

It seems like this is on the very edge of moderate...even with hiking poles you may likely slip down the steep trail coming back from the top.

It was fine. Simple flat, kinda boring trail. The only problem is that a large chunk of the trail is 20 feet from the road. Kinda makes you question why you’re getting a face full of spiderwebs when the road is RIGHT THERE.

Some long stretches of this trail are unsafe, and should be closed until they are properly maintained. Large sections have naturally closed due to heavy overgrowth and/or downed trees, making the trail indistinguishable. My skin and clothing were shredded by miles of sections overgrown with thick briars. Non-stop spiderwebs for the entire trail. Basically just bushwhacking; this is as bad as it gets.
