Very nice trail, well maintained and scenic. The trail does have gravel and there was quite a bit of horse feces which are cons for me, but I did enjoy seeing all the horses while hiking. There's a pond with lots of beautiful flowers, a creek, and a suspension bridge. This trail is dog friendly, with lots of benches for brakes. If you plan on taking your pup across the bridge wait till it's clear, it is very shakey, too much traffic will make it unstable. My dog crossed it twice slowly and with reassurance. I would absolutely hike this trail again.

Very nice trail. Well looked after. Fun hills into the valley. I'll definitely be back.

This is an awesome mix of Trail for all types of users. Great all-season utilization, well maintained.

pretty good hills throughout. nice and quite. good place for a forest bathe.

This lake is extremely pretty with lots of small wildlife around. The trail is paved making for a great evening walk with the family.

I hike this trail a lot with my dogs. A lot of up and down, good workout for me and the dogs.

Really easy, nice trail for a day with with some nice local overnight spots on the northern end.

I love this trail one of my favorites

The problem with county parks is the "improvements" they make to trails. This entire trail is gravel which ruins the natural feeling of the area. This is not hiking, it's walking. Additionally, I clean up after my dog, but have to dodge mountains of horse $hit throughout this entire walk. Yeah, yeah I understand the differences between horse and dog diets and their poop, noone however, wants to step in either pile.

Awesome trail, especially for hill climbing workout! Two major climbs if you incorporate Creek Crossing connection. This is going to be the perfect trail for in the fall to see the colors. Highly recommend

This is one my favorite local hikes. It has some good hills which are hard to find in Northeast Ohio, there are two great beaver ponds on either end of the reservation, and when most other trails are muddy, this is usually in great shape. There is an additional loop at the south end that you can add as well to make the hike a little longer.

Am i the only one that went 'off trail' because of this app and almost got stuck at the bottom of a steep slope? Lmao i almost called 911. But i didnt. I prayed to god and got my fat a$$ up to the top. I probably would not do it again but after the fact looking back it was kind of fun. My body hurt for about two days afterward. I am not going to do it again but at least it made me want to start walking and exercising more.

I was very impressed with this trail.
Fortunately it was a magnificent Sunday morning, spring 50'-60' degrees and lots of wild flowers and trees in bloom.
In addition you could see into the woods but leaves were coming onto the trees.
The entrance/parking lot off Radcliffe Rd was very nice, clean, and secure.
People were also unloading some horses, pretty cool.
Nice restrooms before you hit the trail too if needed.
Heading north shortly you come to a nice wetlands/lake very nice with a small trail around it.
Not very far in and it's silence except for nature.
This place is out there so it's quiet already.
Going North on the Oak Leaf Trail very nice, secluded, natural, quiet with some nice creeks and ravines and rocks.
Up ahead closer to the top of the loop the valley floor drops a good 110'-130' ft, real nice view.
Heading down you start to hear Big Creek with some very nice small waterfalls and nice boulder fields.
Hitting the top of the loop you can head N on the Chickadee Trail which is more primitive and difficult.
The loop trail is a jeep trail hard packed gravel but rough enough to be considered a trail.
Continuing S back on the loop you meander beside Big Creek.
Once again very nice, very scenic.
A little further S you'll see the suspension bridge to To another park entrance on Rt 608
Cross the suspension bridge and comeback, it's a trip !!
A true one lane bridge over Big Creek, it bobbles and sways but is built extremely safe. That was cool !!
Up ahead you'll run into more small falls and Boulder fields, really nice.
Remember that 130' grade you came down Northbound ?
Guess what ? Now you get to climb it Southbound !!
Very nice tho they've strategically placed 3-4 benches for a "breather"
When your doing the loop you realize just how big this piece of land is.
I rated it a four figuring the Appalachian Trail and Rockie Mtns. are true 5's
As are some locations in Southern Ohio have an edge.
But for this area it is super nice.
Simple walking pace covered the loop about 3.8 miles based in recorded GPS tracks at 2 hrs.
I definitely want to check out the Chickadee Trail and grab a campsite for a weekend.
I recommend this trail.

Have been here many times to run, hike, and dog walk. Trails are well groomed with good markers. Trails are short to moderate in length. Scenery includes woods, ravines, and creeks which are nice but not A+. 3 stars for functionality and ease.
