Was a nice walk! Had a place to stop and sit towards the end. Had some good climbs but nothing too rough. Good for dogs too. Will go back.

Great trail. Well maintained. You get to see a river with some running water, a couple water falls, cool rock formations, a couple cool meadows filled with some flowers. Trail is shaded by the canopy. There are some overlook platforms to view the falls. You will also come across a bridge near the water fall.

it helps to read a bit about the Pollock Works if you want to understand what you are seeing. But even if you don't all the trails, because one feeds into another, are quite worth visiting. Beautiful scenery. Very lush. I do wish they had not cleared out so much of the area around the waterfall for viewing, but I guess that does make it accessible to a lot more people.

i'm going to give your a little trip. DO NOT start the trail here. start from Clifton Gorge parking lot, 169 Jackson St, Yellow Springs, OH 45387. its only 5.5 miles away, 10 minutes. you'll see a whole lot more. falls, Indian mound. log house, the lower gorge and cliffs. there is a nice surprise here also. read the rest of the review. so i'll post pictures of everything you'll see if you start from the other parking lot. sitting on 268 acres is Ohio best example of a post glacial, dolomite and limestone canyon gorge. it has beautiful cliff that over hangs the river that runs deep. surrounded by mountain maples, hemlock and in the spring you will see wildflower including the rare snow trillium. the trail is a good family trail. easy to follow and not hard at all. you can spend a day here hiking because its also right near the John Bryan State Park. you can camp, hike or bike here. if your hunger with in walking distant is the 1800's Clifton Grist Mill which is a wonderful place to visit and eat. i went in January after a snow fall which added to the beauty of this more than 10,000 year old gorge. this little slice of heaven is worth visiting more than once.

This trail was far better than I expected. A cool Indian mound is just a small detour away, and you MUST take the "lower gorge trail" to the right when the trail comes to a Y. The cedar cliff trail would have you go left up a hill. I recommend ignoring that and staying along the water. You'll eventually hit some stairs that reconnect you, but on the way you'll pass through a beautiful gorge with some amazing rock walls.

It’s a beautiful location with a easy trail for hike. Have a 19th-century log cabin, a beautiful scenic waterfall, cliffs and ruins and some interesting places you can get shells. A great place for families to have a wonderful inexpensive adventure.

Well maintained grassy trail. Dense woods the whole way. Love nearby Cedar Falls, Indian Mounds and trails linking all.
