Hiked this trail on 5.13.18. Nice hike. The maps in the park are not exact so you’ll need use your best judgement in some sections where trails intersect or split but aren’t parked. You’ll cross some small streams and move around downed trees. A hike if properly timed can be capped with a trip through greenbrier trail up the Lake Hope Lodge for some excellent food and drinks. Enjoy!

Did loop midweek and had trail and Campsite#3 to myself. Well marked. Water at campsite is nice. Some spots are muddy after a rain but passable.

We've done the north loop, it was beautiful but pretty tough. Heavy rain can make the creek a little scary, but it's largely avoidable. the campgrounds are nice, especially having the access to water. Go early on weekends, the parking lot seems to fill up quickly.

Lovely views of the lake, plus a little more elevation than the furnace trail. It’s not very secluded.

Liked that it was a loop that lets you see the whole lake. Buggy.. good exercise!

Path was a bit overgrown. A decent amount of thorns. We would recommend pants and a long sleeve.

Beautiful area. However trail maintained poorly and blazing at roads and turns EXTREMELY poor! This could be a great trail if trail blaze protocol was implemented.

Trails drain very well. Great biking with nice elevation gain/descents with very few points where we were forced to hop off to clear trees ect... This seemed to primarily be a mountain bike trail to me. We saw way more people on bikes than on foot. You can combine this with Bobcat and Yosemite to make a long day on the trails.
