Fantastic hike today. The trail was slippery in a few places and there were opportunities to hop across streams. Very well marked trail. Beautiful wildflower meadow area at the back of the loop, so glad I opted for the longer hike even though it was sprinkling a bit.

It was a perfect hike. I loved the ever-changing scenery. It was awesome for a weeknight hike!

Most enjoyable. The “Top of the world” is a wonderful spot for meditation or a little yoga. From there to the trail head can be a little noisy, being so close to Bath Rd.
Be careful in the rain.

Although it does run next to a road for a little bit, the elevation changes were nice. Didn’t see many birds or wildlife aside from hundreds of chipmunks.

I'm overweight and trying to start walking/jogging local trails to get myself back in shape. Adler trail is, for the most part, flat and very easy to walk/jog. Parts of the trail is a little loud from the nearby road, but still saw plenty of little chipmunks and birds along the way!

Wonderful trail, a mix of forested and open high field grasses. Does include some significant ups and downs which is nice but to be aware of. Wonderful couple hour hike.

I would say this trail is on the tougher end of moderate. It has very steep hills and many stairs, but it’s worth all of it. Very pretty area, takes you through wooded areas, past a beautiful barn and a nice creek. Honestly, it has everything I’m looking for in a hike.

Boooo! Mingo started out pretty cool with a nice incline with the stream on the left, but so is the road. After a couple miles, the trail crosses the road, which is where the trail used to loop around the other side of the stream. It doesn’t anymore. So I ended up looping back on the paved multipurpose trail...several feet away from the road. Not even a run-in with a big white tail buck saved this hike. But if you love being really close to roads and cars and stuff, you’ll love it.

The trail path and surroundings are nice. We went left at the big tree. If you have dogs be very careful taking them here. There was quite a bit of broken glass in the beginning and scattered throughout that could have easily cut their paws. It's a shame people felt the need to break glass on the trail.

The hilly part of the trail provides a good workout and beautiful scenery. I saw only four other people on this trail during the entire time I was hiking. There are places where one can easily extend the hike by going into the F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm or other extensions.

One of the neater trails I've found in the area in terms of terrain and scenery, and not much noise pollution from traffic until the last 1/4.

Wow. Nestled in the summit metro parks we found this gem of a hike. Not an easy start, but well worth the hill. Absolutely awesome forest scenery.

My review is from the perspective of an amateur landscape/nature photographer.

The majority of the trail is typical Eastern US hardwood forest and there's no standout feature. The one exception is Beaver Pond. The pond/marsh was created by beavers and there's a nice boardwalk through it. It's a good spot to shoot a sunrise, photograph birds and look for the elusive beavers. ( I saw one while I was there). There's really now reason to any further along the trail.

If you are visiting the Cuyahoga Valley NP and are looking for wildlife or birds, go to the pond.

Great trail, saw a snake.

Beautiful views, we went to the left first and enjoyed the climb. There was little to no water running so we had no trouble crossing areas that may have had runoff’s.

Nice, easy trail (good for kids). Lots of plants and animals to spot along the way. Features a pond and a suspension bridge.

Not a great trek. Close to road and trail was closed approximately 1.5 miles in. With all of the wonderful trails to enjoy, this one should be far down your list.

I love this trail! Awesome for trail running. A moderate amount of hills, lovely wildflowers in May, and some little stream hops. Super fun.

The river is great. If you start by going left you avoid having to hike up steps but you get a nice short but steep climb in and can end with a beautiful river view!

One of my favorite places to take pictures!!!!! Beautiful scenery. The trails are ok. Nothing really challenging but who cares. Litter chickadees will eat seed out of your hand. You can get the seed at the nature center. There are beautiful birds everywhere. Frogs and snakes too. I saw a cardinal hanging out with a squirrel. Like they were just standing next to each other like they were old friends. So beautiful.

It’s easy. There’s not much to see. I guess you should do it once. Blah.

Overcrowded and you can always hear the traffic. There’s good elevation here but it’s not really anything special. I’m pretty bored with the Sand Run area. Too many people. Too many dogs. Too many perverts. Pretty to look at but not really a good hike.

Me and my friend Amy do this trail all the time. We like it because it’s a little challenging and always empty. There’s never really anyone there whenever we go. There’s a set of stairs here and there’s also a nice elevation. Make sure your shoes are waterproof as you might or might not get wet crossing the river. I will most definitely be back.

This is one of the greatest trails I have ever done. The views from the top are beautiful and this trail is all about elevation. This trail also has the greatest set of stairs I’ve ever seen in the park system. I did them 3 times in a row and my legs were on fire. The trail is short but lots to see. You can actually walk into the creek and take some fantastic pictures. I can’t wait to go back.
