What a surprise to find this gem. One of my new favorites I will be going go back to.

I hike here all the time and am a huge fan! Generally not crowded, 2 options (full and half loops), goes through woods, creeks and meadows, have seen lots of wildlife (hawks, deer, snakes, bunnies, small lizards), plenty of trees to hang a hammock near the path, and an archery range close by. Does get muddy and slippery after rain though. The full trail goes through a cool pine tree grove planted (if I remember correctly) by a girl scout troop.

Beautiful park, walked the overlook trail with it to make 2 miles. The overlook is definitely a must see. Tree fell down on the oxbow trail so be careful.

nice park. kinda stinky, no bathroom, and only one bench, but over all great workout

A moderately challenging, relatively quick hike with some great views!

Two years ago: good hill, trail goes behind a big red barn
located in the Oneil Wood Park off Martin Road. I prefer to go left to avoid climbing a zillion stairs. Return loop on other side of parking lot.

Good challenging hike.

The trail was hilly and pretty. My only complaint is with the signage. It is lacking compared to other parks.

Short but fun trail. Great overlooks at various points along the trail, switchbacks and hills to get your heart pumping. Had to do it twice to feel as though I had hiked sufficiently on the outing, so hiked it in the opposite direction the second time. Added a portion of the Valley Link trail on the second pass. The Link trail descended to the valley floor where it was immediately cooler, and there was a lot of chipmunk activity. Crossed the Cuyahoga River and after a short time on the Towpath, turned around at the Link Trail branch off to Sand Run, back up the inclines to Schumacher Trailhead. Will definitely add this trail to my regular rotation.

Challenging trail and hike, but it is beautiful to hike through. One if my favorites to do. Very slippery spots here and there, but I’m sure it’s because of the rain we have been getting and it doesn’t have time to dry due to the trail being shady.

This trail was surprisingly pretty. I enjoyed the four creek crossings. On the farthest point from the beginning of the hike, there are open fields of tall grass. It was quite beautiful in the rain.

Really enjoyed the hike with the family and dog. Walked counterclockwise on the loop. It was nice ending at the river.

Wonderful mix, high grass and mostly forest trail crosses gully washes at a few points.

This trail is beautiful year round. The trees are spectacular and varied. There’s lots of little animals. It feels mostly uphill so it is a great workout. There’s 2 little water areas to add beauty and it’s trafficked enough you don’t feel isolated but never crowded. My favorite trail to date.

hiking, walking, trail running...backpacking trek training...best all round trail for those pursuits around. You can cut it in half if you don't have time for the full 3.2 by taking the shorter trail option, well marked, name evades me! New trails cut, and just lovely. good elevation gain, hike along the creek, and up along the ridge and plateau with meadows and grassland. nice!

Fantastic hike today. The trail was slippery in a few places and there were opportunities to hop across streams. Very well marked trail. Beautiful wildflower meadow area at the back of the loop, so glad I opted for the longer hike even though it was sprinkling a bit.
