A solid little track. As I’ve upped my hike totals, I am less likely to give 4s and 5s. This trail was wide, soft and well-marked. Worth doing once, but not enough diversity to drive 30 minutes or more to trek again. Excellent facilities, a nice waterfront and more to do than simply jaunt through the woods.

Nice view of the lake and close to the modern world. Trail a little rough and bumpy...Not a beginner trail.
.loved it!

This trail is very rocky and rooty...definitley "shaken not stirred". Did the northeast park trail before this one which is only 15 min north from here and had a much better ride. This trail is split into 3 distances depending on how much you want to do.

Best hiking trail I've been on! The first half goes up a hill, hugging the lake. Then the 2nd half circles down going through a beautiful path along man-placed trees.

Nice 5k run. Just enough roots, rocks, and rolling hills to make it interesting, but not enough to force a slow pace. Love the quartz outcrops.

Would give it 5 stars if it was a few miles longer.

Nov 15, 2016 completed the 3 mile loop with a 20 pound back pack and it was a nice hike. Trail was easy to follow, a few small hills. there was a gazebo about the half way mark and it overlooked the water. There were a few benches to rest. There were some rocks and roots but overall I thought it was fairly easy.
The park is closed on Wed and Thur as mentioned before and Dec and Jan it will only be open Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Very good easy hike. The 3 mile loop brings you around the lake and through the forest. Nice scenic easy stroll.

this was a fun hike with a natural path, occassional benches, bridges, a gazebo, a picnic area - good idea for next time!, lots of frogs! turtles, lake views, mushrooms, etc. its lightly trafficked and good for hiking or running. there are lots of other activities to do at the park as well! great visit. we even did half of it in the rain and enjoyed it.

Love this trail! Roots and rocks make it a bit challenging, but doable for most folks. There's a one mile loop for anyone looking for a shorter adventure.

Shaded trail, very relaxing. Rates are good for kayaking. In the summer they do evening paddles.

Nice trail, portions move alongside the Lake Macintosh. Three mile loop, takes about an hour or less to complete.
