#2 - Melrose Falls Trail
Tryon, North CarolinaLength: 1.1 mi • Est. 26 m
The sign at the trailhead declares that you hike at your own risk because the trail is not actively maintained. The trail is wide and has no major obstacles. About 0.2 miles from the road, take the trail to the left which leads to the falls. It's a fairly easy trai,l but the final descent to the falls is very steep and can be slippery. It leads to a cliff that overlooks the falls. That cliff is high enough that people probably shouldn't take children or dogs on this trail.
