This is a great place to explore with kids. Shady and beautiful! Well worn path but a bit rooty in places. We did more exploring than hiking but I would do this over and over again.

Absolutely stunning! Very good hike with a little challenge! Not for a beginner hiker though, mostly uphill! Very muddy and slippery when I went and most people turned back but dried up on the way back!

Pretty view of the lake through the trees while walking the trail at the beginning. I walked my dog there around 1 pm and we only meet one person on the trail. It’s nice there are benches and picnic tables spread throughout and you have the option to choose a shorter walk. Fairly easy to navigate the park.

good easy trail,. it a loop but not a big deal .. pets allowed, biking, kids friendly.

Perfect trail for pups !!

Nice trail for scenery that I would rate as easy versus moderate from the app for experienced hikers. Very little elevation change.

A decent trail we walked some of it with a Burlington parks and recreation geocaching class. Definitely rideable for the part that I saw today.

Very nice walk. Lots if people walking, running, or riding bikes.

Nice paved trail great for strollers with bathrooms along the trail!

Trail has been closed every time I try to hike it. Been this way for months. Very disappointed:/

At the end of the trail take the paved trail to completely finish. I took the dirt trail and ended up in a dead zone near the damn with no way out.

super populated, hooligans and other mischief all over. the trail intertwines with the disc golf course which makes for a lot of wondering when you'll get smacked with a disc. the trail isn't marked at all so venture at your own risk. enjoy the views of people's backyards.

Very easy hike for good conversation or great for trail running. There were some others on the trail but not overly used. Well maintained and restroom facilities available.

Great, popular park with lots to offer. It has two playground areas, a disc golf course, covered picnic areas, restrooms, and a boardwalk over a boggy area.

I really like this trail. It has the hills and beautiful view of the lake. it gives you good options for smaller loops if you don't want to walk the whole trail. Because it is relatively hilly; most of the trail stays dry. great for trail running or walking, multiple place to rest if you need to.

Small walking trail, flat and paved cement. Great for the dogs and interesting to see the local wildlife flying by, we saw a beautiful crane! Half in the shade and half in the sun at 3pm (early March). The mile will take 30 minutes walking!

This is a good place for a walk, but I don't call it a trail.

I did one part of the paved trail and it was nice. The dog enjoyed it too.

Fully paved walkway around the lake, sometimes along busy roads. Lots of garbage and usually heavily trafficked. Gators in the lake so don’t let your dogs go swimming! Closest thing you get to a good walking trail in Wilmington.

EASY FLAT HIKES on the trails in this area.
Due to all the rain, the trails are impassable. You can still get the experience, and also follow the flood water line around some of the areas. I thought the flooding gave it an interesting look.

Nice walking trail. Fairly heavily trafficked but extremely well maintained and paved. Lots of bikers but everyone was courteous and the walking was enjoyable while many local trails are in poor shape due to excessive rain.

Nice family trail. Took grandkids too. Short loop manageable even in wet season.
I was thinking it would be nice to mountain bike it although it would be fairly easy compared to Connecticut and Mass. trails. At least it would get be back in the saddle after a number of years.

Our crowd had a blast. Four adults, two 4year olds, and two one year olds. We took strollers which were fine. I would recommend one with larger wheels to handle a few roots and rocky terrain. The river provides entertainment for the kids and adults. The farm village is wonderful and we had a nice visit to the shop in the visitors center.

Well kept. 2 miles in from the parking lot the trail was too flooded to pass.
