The neighborhood section is nice for a casual ride or run. Connects to a nice park. The neuse river connection is a little more challenging and a great way to start the longer trail for serious riders.

Unless you are using it as an access point to the neuse trail, don't bother. Too confusing and tends to be rather trashed in spots.

Fantastic trail to ride. From Falls lake in north raleigh to Riverwood in Clayton (and eventually further). Can't wait for the continuation. I have ridden the full length and it has many variations, spots great for the family or weekend rider all the way to challenging hills for the serious rider. It also connects to several other popular trails. Careful of some bridges as they are beginning to show some age. As I write this, they are about to start repairs on one of the bigger bridges between Buffalo park and Anderson pointe. No detour, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, enjoy. It's definitely my favorite trail in the triangle.

Reedy creek trail is for bikers, only becomes interesting when on loblolly. And that trail is recommended . Wouldn’t recommend this loop

Beautiful trail, well maitained. More rest areas with bathrooms would be great.

One of my favorite places to walk. The new NCMA Park is beautifully designed and welcoming. Plenty of paths/trails to walk on even when it’s busy. And you get to look at art for free! Only issue right now is that there are no restrooms outside, so when the museum is closed there are no restrooms in the park. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Good trail to walk for exercise. Not a hiking trail per-se as it is paved more like a park trail, but great for walking and running. The back part of the trail near I-440 gets intense with some pretty big hills so be prepared. Great views of the lake and woods.

Puppy was scared of the bridge, but what a great view!

Best sunsets in Raleigh! This is a fun jog/hike that doesn’t take much time at all. Weekends are always more heavily trafficked but that just means more dogs to pet.

Everything you could want. Awesome art indoors and out and trails! Loved this place.

Great trail to clear the mind!

Walked this trail with my family. What an amazing place. The art is beautiful and the trails are very easy. Would suggest this place for anybody with a love of art or nature.

the paved part is right behind my house. walk parts of it everyday with the dog. the water is gross though. Dog stunk after swimming in it.

Love this trail! It’s so close to our house and my step son just loves to ride his scooter around the lake. It’s a high traffic walk but everyone is very friendly. Great for bikes, fishing, walking, having a picnic

Loveee this trail! You see so many cool things along the way! Worth it and quite a work out!

Beautiful park but this trail is not “hard” difficulty level. The path is a very level and wide sand and grave path like a road; although there is a lot of elevation to traverse it does not require much thought or effort and feels rather domesticated.

Tough trail run. Always makes you want to come back for more

It’s just too cool to wander this place.

Hill Training!

the first half was basically a road. it was very quiet for being so close to Raleigh. my kids (13, 10, 5, & 3) rocked it! the last mile was mostly uphill.

Energetic and peaceful

Good trail but very busy. It's nice and wide but wheelchairs may have difficulty with the second half as it's very steep. Elevation increase may only be 242ft but it does it up and down two or three times.

I cycle here and I really enjoy it. it's nice to not worry about traffic.

Nice walk, only did the Centennial Greenway portion. Well marked, however it is best to park at the farmers market and access it from there.

This trail feels more like a walk in the park than a hike. This trail does have a lot more natural terrain than the other loop. There are some nice views of the little lake. Not much incline or challenging areas, but a great place to escape for a little bit that's close to Downtown Raleigh.

Good walking trail mostly paved, lots of interesting things to see.

This a place that has expanded significantly in the last decade. While it is an easy paved walk predominantly, it is the most interesting & charming city trail in Raleigh.
