Used it for trail running training

Nothing special. Not filled with people and no way you get lost. The scenery is good when you can’t see the residential side you’re surrounded by.

Shorter than 6 miles. Roads criss cross the trail so if you have dogs watch out for cars at least 3 times. Also it goes right by a dog shelter, which you can hear the majority of the time.

I Love this trail. It's a nice walk to get some fresh air and see nature right here in the city

I was able to get a good walk however with having to avoid bicycles makes it hard. The trails are quite narrow and someone must get off the trail, in most cases it will be the hiker. The cyclist are going quite fast so have to move quickly from the trail.

Very well maintained walking path, great for pets and Kids, can even bring the bikes for them as the path is broad and smooth. greenway does cross traffic so be aware.

Great trail if your at the retirement home or the dog pound you're at the wrong junction. It's 2.8 miles from end to end total. I go running on it weekly I've seen deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, foxes, centipedes cats and dogs lol. They only issue as noted before is they made it along a sewerage line which can get quite smelly sometimes.

What a great intown trail -
We stopped the day after on the way back from Blowing Rock for a short stretch.

This little trail made us envious that we don't have anything like it in Denver (NC).

And if you have 10 minutes, swing off the trail and stop at the animal shelter - maybe a future hiker is waiting for you!

Really great for all ages, and stroller friendly!

wouldn't it be nice if they gave an address to the parking lot?

So I try to go out this morning and take my puppy for a walk, well as soon as I got there and try to find the parking area there was none to be found. On the street where the trail was suppose to be there is a Detention center (no parking) and on the other side is a retirement home (no parking), so I stopped and ask some kind folks "where is the parking area for this trail" and they told me to go on the other street and when I got there - there was nothing but a power station and it said no parking on the fence.. After getting the-run-around several times I finally stop wasting my gas and came home.. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, this trail have no business posting signs on the side of the street and have no business advertising itself as a Hiking trail because its nothing more than a neighborhood walk trail... I HATE BEING MISLEAD and having my precious time wasted

Very nice trail. Not too far away if you are in the area. Easy running trail. Stroller or wheelchairs would be okay, too. Nice level surface, no rocks or roots. Would also, be nice bike trail. Very easy hike/walk/stroll.
