A short trail. Very popular area for swimming. Beautiful waterfall over a pool setting.

Good hike through the woods with several creek crossings. I linked up with the Hanging Rock Trail to make a longer and much better hike.

Beautiful falls and swimming area for the whole family! The walk to the falls is easy and well worth the beautiful rocks and waterfall!

Amazing falls and terrific trail. I’d rate as easy to moderate. Can’t miss trail in the park.

Beautiful waterfall

on Indian Creek Trail

Great hike! We started from Danbury access to top and back. Much easier than starting at Hanging Rock parking lot and going down then back up. There are lots of pretty spots and scenery all around. 9 water crossings going 1 way. It had rained a bit this week so lots more water flowing through. Love the Falls!

great trail. very few people once you get past the waterfalls. very quiet and nice to hike along a beautiful creek. there are some great views of the dan river at the end.

Absolutely beautiful.

Nearly 15 miles there and back along Indian Creek Trail with deep woods with a great canopy for a hot day, multiple slippery rock crossings, some small water falls and pools plus a cool dip in the Dan River rapids. Last 1.5 miles straight up. Guess my heart's in good shape. Ready for a ice cold beer and a breezy hammock

Great hike! Very good to do on a hot and humid day! Refreshing waterfalls and shade galore!

Great trails! There’s a river that follows beside the trail, you can easily walk across them and the dogs loved the break for play/drinking. Don’t let the waterfall stop you from seeing the real beauty of this trail. KEEP Going!

Did this at the end of a hot day.... the scenery is beautiful!!! I wish I could post the picture not just of the cascade but the stairs to it.... at the end the cascades is spectacular aaaaand freezing water. Worth it.

Did this today right after the heavy rains cleared. Very easy hike with a big payoff.

Nice shaded trail along the water. Took the girls and dogs for mother’s day. Stop at road and turn around for 3.5 mile hike.

Amazing place

This was a great trail! It was pretty easy to follow and it was not extensive at all. The waterfall feature was gorgeous!

Beautiful hike! We cut the hike in 1/2 to make it a little over 3 miles. Once you get past the waterfalls the crowd really dies down. We will definitely do this one again.

The trail has about 200 semi steep steps but very easily done and well worth the hike!

Combined this hike and Hanging Rock in same afternoon, both great hikes!

This trail starts out with a lot of people but just after reaching the falls in .08 miles the trail becomes lightly trafficked. There are many creek crossings that are easy to cross with pleasant views and sounds of flowing water. There are only a couple spots where the land opens up for distant viewing and this trail only has about 1,700 feet in total elevation gain. The one downside about this trail is that it follows the road for the first few miles and you can hear cars and there are even spots where you can see houses.

Easy and pretty!! Beautiful falls at the bottom. We did the Hanging Rock trail and then this one. Do them Both!

Waterfall was amazingly beautiful

First time on this trail. Very enjoyable, and I saw nobody after I passed the falls.
I was there on an 89-degree day, but because the hike is almost entirely under the trees in a dense forest. it was not hot and doable.

This was a wonderful trail. Most of the time you were walking right beside the creek and the path wound among blooming rhododendrons. We brought a second pair of shoes (water shoes) that we did not need. We could "tip-toe" across each water crossing without getting anything other than the bottom of our shoes wet. We only saw 2 other hikers on the way down and maybe 20 more on the way back up to the Visitor Center (until the falls which are close to the top - lots of people there).

Early mornings are wonderful on this trail; I've seen lots of wildlife and birds while enjoying the serenity of the trail and the gurgling of the creek. There are creek crossings in the lower half, so make sure you have waterproof boots, especially if the area has had a lot of rainfall. A very pleasant experience if done early in the day or in the winter.

This is a beautiful trail that takes you from the Dan River up the mountain to the visitor center parking area. It crosses the creek in several places and passes Window and Hidden Falls closer to the top. I want to do it again when the rhododendron are blooming!

This was a good challenging hike for me. Loved seeing 2 waterfalls. The old barn is at about 3miles in after you cross the road. I added the river bluff loop that's at the end of Indian Creek trail on the Dan River.
-Indian Creek Trail(Part of the Moutains to Sea Trail system) (Hidden Falls and Window Falls)
-Riverbluff Trail Loop - 1.3 miles
**Total Miles 8.6
