This trail is everything but not hard! Its like a walk you normally do in the afternoon after lunch and has nothing to do with hiking.
We did one day after the rain falls caused by the hurricane. As there is no path you walk up where the water flows: water proof shoes are suggested.

Was an easy trail for a newbie to start on!

We chose this trail because it was rated ‘easy’ on this app and we had a 3.5 year old and a 7 year old with us. Even though they did pretty well, this trail was NOT easy. The park map labels the first section of the trail from the parking lot ‘moderate’ and the second part of the trail ‘difficult’. The waterfall was lovely but a little hidden. The trail itself was rocky and had some steep inclines at points. We used the directions from this app to get to the parking lot and the trail head. Directions were good. However, make sure to also use this app to find your way to Wintergreen Falls bc it is not labeled on the way down the trail in the park, until about half way in. Overall decent hike, but again, NOT ‘easy’.

my favorite fall at Dupont.

Easy hike...well maintained pathways.

Was a nice hike. Kids had fun playing in the water.

As others have said, more of a path than a trail but this area is beautiful. The beginning of the Triple Falls Trail is fairly steep but it really levels out after that. The stairs that go to the bottom of Triple Falls are definitely worth your time. There is also a path that goes to the base of High Falls that give you an opportunity to get close to the falls for some really cool views. It had been raining a lot when we were there so the water was up and High Falls was awesome. We got there early and had no problems with parking or crowds. Foot traffic got very heavy on our way down and when we got back to the parking lot it was full and people were parking down the road for a half mile in both directions. Go early!

Hiked this for the 4th time last night and it's still my favorite hike in Dupont. If you're starting from trailhead on Old CCC, it's more like a 4.5 mile out and back. I would probably rate it more toward moderate than hard, except for the last 75 yards or so to the top....that part is a great finisher with an excellent payoff. overall, a great hike and theres a good chance you'll have it all to yourself.

Cute little park in a great neighborhood.
The photos don’t do it justice but it is definitely just a leisurely stroll kind of place, more than a hike. Great place to walk the dog, use the workout equipment, watch birds, and picnic.

Secluded beautiful waterfall - the trail was a little boring for kids, but easy.

definitely a good work out and the end result is well worth it. just beware of the overgrown area that you have to duck through for about 40ft. and there are diamond back rattle snakes so be careful. otherwise a great hike.

Hooker Falls Trail leads to a popular swimming area at the base of the falls and is only minutes from the parking lot. The parking lot is unimproved dirt and is medium sized so it fills quickly. (I was almost the first car in the lot when I got there and after hiking Hooker-Triple-High Falls the lot was packed and cars lined both sides of the road.) Hooker Falls is really just a first stop before doubling back and heading up to Triple Falls and High Falls, which are really the main attractions.

Other than getting through the brush at the top it was great! Steady incline and beautiful views. It was completely empty on my Saturday mid-morning hike!

Really crowded hike and this was on a weekday. I did this and a bit more. I started at Hooker Falls, went up to see those falls and then turned up to Triple Falls and onto High Falls. From there I continued up over the covered bridge over High Falls and went up to Grassy Creek Falls - that's worth skipping as there was nothing to see. From Grassy Creek I turned back up on Buck Forest Road down to Thomas Cemetery to Sandy to Wintergreen Falls. Then back up to the Guion parking area and then back all the way on Buck Forest. A good long lollipop but this whole area is really easy to hike.

great hike! but the meadow was extremely overgrown, kinda tough to get through

Pretty very populated

Great trail that can be done with kids - moderate due to some steep rocks but very manageable

It was a blast! After about 1 mile the trail gets very rocky and steep. Toward the end there was a section without trees and just grass and shrubs. To get an amazing view make sure to follow the little trail to the left of the overlook. I would definitely do this trail again!

short walk, nice small falls, good place for swimming and kids. lots of people there on a hot summer day because of easy access and short walk to parking.

Easy walk go a neat waterfall!

Nice easy hike that leads to a really cool swimming hole. Unfortunately got caught in the rain, but would normally be an awesome spot to hangout!

one of my favorite easy trails .has interesting points of interest and the falls are small but refreshing..Lots of interesting flora..Not too heavily used the many times I have walked/run it..nice for easy biking, too

Nice views of beautiful falls. More of a walk than a hike. Kind of touristy.

Yes, as others have noted this is not exactly what I would call hiking. Path walking is more like it. All of the falls were beautiful, we walked from hooker falls parking area to triple falls to high falls to bridal falls and lastly to hooker falls before calling it a day, took us about 3.5 hours or so. We brought a picnic which we enjoyed at high falls. Great day of multiple waterfalls, just not much of a hike.

Awesome hike! Beautiful and easy! My husband, 3 year old son, and I completed this trail. Well worth the drive.

One of the best swimming holes around!

Pretty hike with very big waterfall. Lots of dogs & kids having fun too.
