Hiked trail on 2/22. Beautiful weather, muddy in some places.

Nice 4.3 mile hike which could have been made shorter or longer. My first time here so I stayed on the wider gravel trails just to scout out the general area. I wanted to see both lakes (Summit/Julia and Fawn). Both were very pretty and Fawn Lake has a nice covered gazebo out over the water. Summit is much bigger and both are very picturesque. I was surprised to see that the runway at the airport was paved. This area would be good for mountain bikes, families and runners but the trails I was on (big enough for vehicles) are gravel. From the parking lot, turn left to get to Fawn Lake in an easy 10-12 min. If you go right, you will wind yourself up & down to get to the airport and Lake Julia, maybe 40 min.

Very easy, very popular short hike to an underwhelming waterfall.

For the most part, this was a relatively easy loop. Other than getting down to the falls it’s a relatively gentle incline/decline most of the way. We chose to go to the base of both falls and it is absolutely worth it. With the temperature starting out at 23 degrees, there was some ice in the shady areas.

went on saturday and not busy at all. Beautiful and serene. Once you reach the falls, it's like a hidden oasis. The scattered boulders add a majestic character to the forest. We'll be back!

It was a lovely day in DuPont State Forest at 46 degrees. My dog and I saw 4 huge waterfalls and it was just gorgeous. It would be so nice to swim at hooker falls in the summer!

Hiked have hiked this trail in several different seasons. in the fall the trees are always offer beautiful colors and of course the falls are so beautiful. We recently hiked this trail in winter after a huge amount of rain causing flooding and then snow the next day. All of the falls were churning! so much water and just amazing. the trail was a little muddy but in amazingly good shape even though the weather had been so bad. we really enjoyed it on our winter hike!

Great trail to tackle with kids. Trail is wide and well maintained. I wouldn’t classify as “moderate”- “easy” seems to be a better description in my opinion. The falls were gorgeous- Especially after all of the rain we’ve had. We will be doing this one again.

Good trail. Some views on Ridgeline in Winter. Nice pavilion by lake for lunch. Two high line tie ups along trail. At lake and cemetery. Very busy parking lot later in the day. Probably passed 40 mountain bikes. Most pretty nice.

We did out and back to the peak at about mile 2.5. Great hike with a fantastic winter view from the pasture.

Great trail!! The falls were beautiful and the hiking was pretty easy, just a few points of steep-ish incline.

Great trail for walking and walking your dog.

This hike was on trails that were shared with mountain bikes, horses and forest service trucks. Most of it was more of a gravel road walk than a trail in the woods. Of course the waterfalls were beautiful.

Nice short hike to see three amazing waterfalls! Some parts of the trail were washed out from the recent heavy rains, but did not effect the hike.

This was a great loop!!!

Great easy trail to a very pretty waterfall. Took this hike after a night of serious rain so the trail was wet in parts & had to walk around wet spots. Very slight down hill the whole way so slight uphill on the way back but still easy. Trail is wide almost the entire way. Pretty views into the woods all the way because no leaves in January. Nice relaxing hike. Some rock scrambling right at the end to get to the pool at the base of the falls. Only indicates 2.5 miles because I failed to record the entire return trip.

The waterfalls were beautiful after a good rain but the trail was entirely to populated for my liking. We saw 50+ people today on the entire hike and more were coming whenever we left. The trail is well maintained but you’re shoulder to shoulder with everyone.
