A well maintained, shady, and easy trail. Takes just under an hour to walk every trail in the area at a relaxed pace. Very crowded on the weekend. Definitely a “city” trail but nice for what it is.

This was a great easy ride. First time using this app and didn’t know how to use it fully. We completed the entire greenway, just not fully recorded

It's nice to have this trail in Cary. It breaks up the monotony of regular paved trails.

One of our favorite trails. Easy to follow and quiet.

Amazing bike ride for the whole family. We started at David Drive and went the 5 miles to the American Tobacco Trail!

You have to pay attention at certain places because of poor signage. I ended up missing one unmarked turn where the trail just seems to end on Davis Dr. Thankfully I was able to figure out what I did wrong and connected to a different greenway trail that connected back to White Oak Creek greenway trail.

Nice paved out and back greenway. I run it frequently.

Easy, nice walk. Not enough geese. There was no nearby parking. There are a lot of beautiful houses along the trail. Also this walk would be a great place to bike.

technically private property. explore at own risk

I took the trail on a sunny cool day and only saw one other person the whole time. Out of nowhere a cloud came over and dropped rain about 1/3rd of the way through. Thankfully, it wasn't enough to soak through since I left the raincoat in the truck! I walked through Hinshaw to Pirate's Cove and back to the vehicle, making this a loop. I parked at the church and called to ask permission. They were fine with it. I saw another vehicle park right off the side of the road at the Greenway Sign. Other than that, there is no parking at the beginning of this greenway.

The Lake Trail is a great 2 mile loop part paved and part dirt trail. A little muddy today because of the rain but fun none the less. Highly recommended!

another awesome paved Cary trail!

This trail is perfect for an afternoon stroll. Certain parts are heavily trafficked and others not less so. This trail gets close to several private residences but is overall a solid trail.

Our family loves this trail! Well beaten (mulch covered) path that is very well maintained. Lots of hills and steps so a good workout. Public restrooms with water fountain, doggie water and doggie bags. Also has a play area for kids!

Easy trail by a creek, this portion was very nice. However, part of the trail runs parallel to a highway, and a portion of the trail along the lake (symphony lake greenway) is closed until Feb. 1, 2020. For these reasons, I would stick to nearby Hemlock Bluffs trails until Feb.

I usually don't walk Greenways as I like nature trails, but I had fallen yesterday and my ribs were very sore, so I wanted to try something easy that level and concrete. It was a little over 6 miles and I did fine once I started moving. Was a great day for a hike and probably the most crowded hike I've ever done.

Decent trail, very easy. Runs alongside private property. Some portions closed for winter and require detours, which are well marked. Lake shore is extremely muddy and I recommend avoiding. I went with my dog on leash and saw a moderate amount of others and their dogs. Some portion runs along gravel, others through boardwalk, others through softer ground/dirt. 3 stars because it isn't as scenic or interesting as other trails. But a good weekday simple trail or afternoon stroll.

The first part of the trail has a lot of loose gravel from the construction just off the trail. A big hill at the start and a few more a few miles in. There is no loop for biking, it is an out and back trail.

I enjoyed this starting from Lofts at Weston apartments. I went clockwise. I also meandered around the ruins at Camp Craggy, and I did a couple of exploratory detours, in addition to the trail as described. It’s telling me I did 8.2 miles.

Easy trails with some stairs and mild inclines. Well maintained park, great for a quick few miles of solitude. Several “overlooks” along the bluffs looking down at Swift Creek are nice reflection points but not the best as far as views. Plenty of squirrels and birds along the way, not too busy either.

Inner trail, behind homes closest to lake, is a dirt single width path with tree ruts. Great for a rougher hike but easy as there are no hills. Paved trail too busy for my taist. Enjoy!
