Not crowded at all. The falls are an uphill scramble. Don’t just stop at the bottom! Lots of fallen timber in the falls, but worthwhile

Beautiful, super easy, and a great start to a Pisgah experience.

Trail map is wrong. Trail does not diverge into a waterfall trail that I could find. Ended up hiking on a vehicle service trail and found nothing notable. Don’t do this hike.

What a lovely trail, moderate and well-maintained. We started from the parking lot which had ample space for about 10 cars and proceeded up the Bracken Mountain Trail to Brushy Creek Trail. Total round-trip was 5 miles and you see a couple of mini waterfalls along the way.

Beautiful falls! Crowded. Easy trail!

Went up the Art Loeb way which I recommenced its about 2 miles up with switchbacks but the other way down is a little longer but a lot easier. Summit is beautiful.

It’s been years since I’ve worn a watch and needless to say I got my direction mixed up and accidentally went clockwise (left at the fork). Kinda glad I did cause I couldn’t imagine going downhill that way with my dog pulling me! Didn’t run into one single person and it was Labor Day weekend! Beautiful hike :)

What a gorgeous trail! We hiked it on Sept. 1, and the weather was perfect. We started with the ascent up the mountain and returned via the river. The trail was manageable even for our 10-year-old dog.

Good hike to test my dog’s comfort level with log crossings, since I knew we could ford at the mountain bike crossings if necessary. Thankfully he did great and we stayed dry! The views of the waterfalls are a bit obstructed in the summer but I can’t wait to come back and take advantage of the campsite our there in the spring. Beyond the spur to the falls, the trail was in a lot rougher shape. I got off on either a rarely-used alternate or a decommissioned trail at one point, so had an extra steep and spider-webby climb up to claw hammer road!

Beautiful waterfall but lots of traffic. Go during the week and miss the crowds.

Great trail! Lots of roots so bring good shoes. John rock portion was tough with a cliff over looking valley. Be careful! Beautiful forest hike. Loved it.

We did blue and red trail - about 5.5 miles, 2h 20 mins. Some good elevation at the beginning. Overall it was a good moderate hike but not much by way of views or varied scenery.

super easy hike to this beautiful waterfall !
