Nice for a great walk or running trail. Don’t actually consider this hiking, personally. The trail is extremely wide (with horse droppings) so this fit in more as a nature walk. Pretty scenery and easy for everyone.

Easy, wide open hike. Horses walk this trail frequently. Part of the trial is being worked on and “closed” but you can still navigate around.

This was a great little trail to pick up over summer. You're well-covered most of the way under a tree canopy that sometimes closes in to be charming and cozy. The trail itself is mostly uphill and peaceful. There's camping at the end (including a rope line to put your food out of reach). My biggest complaints are the folks who hike in with four itty bittys and a 16oz bottle of water to share between the lot of them, and the utter ambiguousness of the trail ending. It ditches into a series of small campsites, but has no definite end. I ended up traipsing around the woods trying to figure out if there was a view I was somehow missing, before giving up and scrambling up a few rock faces. The views were pretty decent, though challenging to track down.

I *strongly* suggest that if you have the time (and energy, snacks, and water), that you take at least a half mile jaunt up the Cragway Trail (you can access it a little ways back from the end of the Nuwati). The Cragway is steep, narrow, and strenuous, but the views even a little ways up are fantastic. If you're feeling ambitious, you can keep going until you hit the Daniel Boone Scout Trail, take a left, and you'll loop all the way back to the start of the Nuwati (I obviously suggest looking up that route on AllTrails so you're not going in blind).

A calm and peaceful place. I loved the view of Cone Manor tucked in between the mountains. The water lillies & flowers on Bass Lake were lovely.

fun hike. lunch on lake

This is one of our favorite hikes, perfect for a nice afternoon outing.

Nice easy walk or jog. Arrive early to take advantage of the cooler mornings and fewer people. Nice scenery on the longer trails.

some muddy spots but for tbe most part a nice warm up for the longer hikes.

Easy walk and it is always a bit breezy there.

Always muddy and a little boring.

Trail was kept up very nicely and was clear of stumps. Pretty easy hike and the views are great. I recommend coming and enjoying the trails and nature.

My husband and I decided to hike the trail from Bass Lake to Cone Manor today. I was intrigued by the manor house and wanted to make a longer outing than just driving to the manor. As most others have mentioned, the trail is gravel and really easy to walk. Even the incline from the lake to the manor is very gradual. I gave this 3 stars though because it's overall kind of dull. I was most fascinated by the overgrown orchards but they are blocked from access by barbed wire and nailed gates.

Took about 1.5 hours round trip with some rest breaks. Wouldn’t call it easy - some flat spots but mostly steady incline. Coming back was a breeze, all downhill. The payoff view is great but you really do have to climb up some rocks to get to it. Reco hiking boots or shoes rather than sneakers but it’s still doable.

super easy, super popular, beautiful views any season!

What seemed like forever to get to the top was well worth it! Easy well groomed walkway.

Nice hike on a beautiful Wednesday. We saw the bridge across Boone Forks a few weeks back so decided to try coming at the falls by a different route. Took Rich Mountain trail to the MST down to Hebron Falls. Nice hike but all uphill on the way back. Makes for a good workout

Short trail around a campground, not much to see. Although connects to a couple bigger trails with cooler things along the trail.

Flat. It’s a perfect place for strollers. There’s a cool water pool at one side of the lake. There’s several species of water fowl here.

Easy going. Great loop

Nice wide graveled trails with changes in scenery. Mostly wooded but some nice open pastures. Great lunch spot at the top on a stone wall with 360 degree view. Regularly used by horses but easy to step around the horse biscuits. Nice gentle consistent incline; almost an easy trail but not quite. Park crews were actively clearing deadfall from recent snowstorms right at the top when we were there.

Went with my husband and our two doggos. It was tough in some areas with the dogs on a leash. I wouldn’t say this is an easy trail. Especially when you get to the end it’s pretty rocky and steep. I wore tennis shoes and I definitely should have worn real hiking boots with real tread. It was a really fun hike though & I would do it again in a heartbeat.
