Awesome adventure on our last hike! The bridge had been washed away so we simply crossed through the creek on the hike in. As soon as we got to the falls we got hit with a massive storm. We raced back up the trail and when we got back to the bridgeless crossing the creek had become a raging river. We used some rope and rigged up a harness so we could safely get through the water without getting swept away. We were soaked but it was an awesome experience!

My husband and I decided to hike the trail from Bass Lake to Cone Manor today. I was intrigued by the manor house and wanted to make a longer outing than just driving to the manor. As most others have mentioned, the trail is gravel and really easy to walk. Even the incline from the lake to the manor is very gradual. I gave this 3 stars though because it's overall kind of dull. I was most fascinated by the overgrown orchards but they are blocked from access by barbed wire and nailed gates.

Great hike to some amazing views!

Took about 1.5 hours round trip with some rest breaks. Wouldn’t call it easy - some flat spots but mostly steady incline. Coming back was a breeze, all downhill. The payoff view is great but you really do have to climb up some rocks to get to it. Reco hiking boots or shoes rather than sneakers but it’s still doable.

We didn’t research this trail so were a little taken aback by a couple of steep declines - wouldn’t recommend for someone with really bad knees. Took about 2 hours with several rest breaks. Great diversity of views - meadows like Sound of Music, streamside canopies. Would do it again, but do a little more stretching beforehand!

Sims pond loop is a nice short loop with minor elevation change. circles around the pond and under the brp, up across green knob and back to the parking lot. nice

super easy, super popular, beautiful views any season!

What seemed like forever to get to the top was well worth it! Easy well groomed walkway.

Nice hike on a beautiful Wednesday. We saw the bridge across Boone Forks a few weeks back so decided to try coming at the falls by a different route. Took Rich Mountain trail to the MST down to Hebron Falls. Nice hike but all uphill on the way back. Makes for a good workout

Nice trail to run.

Short hike, but the view was incredible, well worth the 15 minute effort up it.

Did this hike with my dad recently and we had a fantastic time! The weather was perfect and we did the Nuwati trail to the Cragway trail to Daniel Boone up to Calloway Peak and back down to the Boone Fork Parking Lot via Daniel Boone. I think it totaled around 9 miles doing it that way according to the fitbit, tough day, but I wouldn’t change a thing. The Cragway trail was harder than Daniel Boone, but the challenge was well worth it.
Definitely going back again.

Great hike. Awesome workout. Nice views

Beautiful hike for a nice, clear day.

Not recommend if it’s wet, snow or ice. Quite a few people have fallen to their deaths here. Be smart.

One of my favorites. Great workout.

Not recommended if you are weary of heights. There are some very high ladders you have to climb.

Quick easy hike.

For a more difficult hike do start by the pond. Walk across the BRP and start there. The first mile is uphill and a much better workout.

Steep hike. I never see anyone of this trail. It’s nice because it’s close to town and very beautiful

Enjoyed this hike. I thought the trail could have been BLAZED better. The ladders are very nice and the view is awesome. The plane wreckage from the 1970s was neat to see. This was my wife’s second hike and she did great. I will hike it again.

People should not bring dogs on this trail!. Some paths were very narrow and easy to fall. I have hiked in Oregon, California, Arizona, Australia, and New Zealand. I think this trail was moderate. Watch out for hidden stumps!!!
