Paved trail around the lake. Easy and shaded. Good for bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, etc. Found an unpaved trail that follows closer to the lake on oneside. lots of secluded benches and picnic tables. That added about a half mile to the walk.

Mountain biking

Since I was doing out and backs, I segmented this trail into the White Oak Greenway [great ride from Bond Park to the ATT], the section from Bond Park to Godbold Park [behind neighborhoods and along Maynard Road], the section from Godbold to Lake Crabtree [hard short hill on Dynasty Drive but otherwise pretty flat and nice along Black Creek], and the final section from the Old Reedy Creek Trailhead to the neighborhood on Poyner Road [which is just an access point from someone's house]. I made the final leg combining Reedy Creek, South Turkey and Cedar Ridge into a nice loop. This is a great trail ride [or walk if you do it in sections] from point to point if you can get someone to drop you off or pick you up. Good variety, lots of ups and downs, challenges and a great taste of Cary and Umstead. Enjoy!

Greenway is open all the way through. Lots of nature on one side and houses on the other. The entire greenway is concrete. Great for bikes and families. I saw rabbits, frogs, and a nice pond with a weeping willow in the corner. Bring sunscreen if you don't want direct sunlight. It's partial sun and shade. I didn't see a restroom open at Kelly Park but I just didn't spend a lot of time looking. To see the trail, you can watch my video: https://youtu.be/eNNckN1WO-g

Walked this with my kiddos (5 and 3) and mother-in-law. Saw turtles and ducks and geese and a cormorant and a king fisher and a black snake a plethora of squirrels! What a great walk!!

This trail is beautiful! We saw a ton of turtles. A lot of people around. We brought the kids and they loved it. Parking was easy and following the trail was easy. They had a few nature trails we will try next time!

The trailhead is not where the directions say they are. You can't get on there. Go on down to the corner of Green Level West just passed where the directions say and at the light , take a right. There's a parking area there. For this trail, you have to walk down the boardwalk then back to follow the trail that's marked here then cross the street. That didn't make much sense. Either way, I'm marking this one off my list as I met where I finished before. I've completed this trail in sections.

Nice well maintained paved trail thay goes around a little lake. I went on a Monday afternoon around 1:30 and it was pretty busy. Lots of dog walkers and walkers in general. Just a few bikers and joggers. I would do it again but definitely not during peak hours.

Nice trail. I did this on a sat afternoon in relatively lousy weather but it was still pretty busy. I can see where this would be fantastic if there were less people. Very well maintained and marked with beautiful scenery around.

Really nice and quiet small loop if you’re looking for a simple run. Not too many hills leaves you for a nice smooth pace with a beautiful view of the water!

Nice, easy nature walk with some private beaches away from the crowds. Great for throwing up a hammock right next to the water

The trail is closed halfway through. This is a flat walk- pretty greenway. To make up the mileage, I walked through some of the neighborhoods. Trailed closed halfway as of 9/14/19.

A little over two miles when you combine all the trails. Nicely covered from the sun and the path is well maintained.
