Variety of trails to chose from. I was there for 4 hours and did 9 miles walking through pretty much all of it. Yellow trail is the most hike-y of them all if that makes sense. White and red were mostly trekking through grass to beautiful meadows that opened up lovely. If you want to see the creek you need to take yellow! Black was more forest-y and blue was nice too. Saw foxes and deer, not much variety wildflower wise. Saw maybe 6 other hikers total all throughout from a distance. Everything is spaced out nicely and serene peace and quiet is definitely achievable here. *I parked off of Union and Quaker at the trail sign before the lodge. The website says Stewart and Union but there was no lot and if parked on the street would end up entering mid-red trail.*

Great hike, beautiful area. This is an easier hike with not a lot of elevation. Would do again. .

Fantastic trail! I loved the various trails at this park. I'll definitely be back. If you do decide to go, I recommend the black/blue trail, the open field was amazing!

Lovely wooded paths that open up to fields full of flowers and trees. Beautiful!

Easy trail with nice meadows. Trails can be confusing if you don't have a map.

Oatka Park trails are nice, comfortable without many inclines. Wooded area and open fields. There is one very steep hill in the back trails near the river. Nice old concrete bridge over the creek. Fly fishermen are often there in the summer. Herds of Deer in the winter and fall time, squirrels, birds but not much wildlife. Sometimes we see horseback riders. No gas-powered vehicles allowed. You can spot wildlife better if you go off trail. The area is very easy to see so getting lost isn't an issue.

Great trail, especially for snowshoeing in the winter (with or without dog) or walking your dog in the summertime. However, be aware that some dogs do walk off leash here. Dog owners are pretty friendly though, and have had no problems.
