Awesome trail that brings you almost to the lake. One area was very muddy. There was a workaround but it was definitely a bit more difficult. Overall, a great trail!

Great hike. A little challenging in spots for this 50 something couple. Nicely groomed and beautiful views.

Great short day trail. Beautiful view of the Irondequoit Bay at the end to relax at. A little muddy but easy to get over. More hills than I thought but good for the legs!

This will always be my favorite for nostalgia, but it's a great one. I've never followed the trail markers, there are plenty on side trails to explore around even more!

Parked at Gosnell and picked up the trail near the meadow. Very muddy section. Looks like town is working to fill in mud with tree mulch. Give if a week or so.

Love this park! Easy-moderate trails. Very well groomed with clearly marked routes and maps, so you can’t get lost. No bugs or mud in mid-May even after a few rainy days. Some people were biking, though I would assume only certain routes would be bike friendly due to some areas with lots of roots/rocks. Even with a full parking lot, the trails were quite secluded, so feels like you’re really out in nature. Would definitely return.

Hiked 04.23.20. Decent trail. There is one spot that’s pretty muddy, but otherwise not too bad. It’s a good hike for all levels.

Took my 4 year old, and we had a blast. It was lightly trafficked on Sunday morning, which was nice and didn’t require constant face coverings. Loved being able to eye spy the old cars and different birds. Will go back!

Great trail for a shaded hike in the summer. There’s always one area that remains really muddy year round. Bring appropriate shoes for that and you’re golden.

Nice little walk. Front of the park is more scenic with all of the plants from the arboretum. Wait a few weeks until more is in bloom.

A brisk day for a hike. A little muddy in spots but overall a great trail. A little bit more strenuous than I had expected but it's probably because I'm out of shape. Great view of the water.

Good trail but there wasn’t any parking

Very nicely maintained trails. We hike these trails almost daily with our golden. Blue trail is easy, red has 3 hills to climb but not hard. Orange trail loops a big field with a couple of stops with info on the native birds and wildflowers. Brown is another field trail that connects to green and red. All trail work is done by Volunteers so please pick up after your dog. Most bridges built by Boy Scouts as Eagle Scout projects. Bags provided at trailhead and a spot to dispose of it. Some mud when it rains but dries out in a few days.Ticks are out.

Trail was in great shape; a few muddy areas to climb around bit overall not bad at all. great views, very scenic and a good mix of flat with a few steep inclines. I did the white to green- I reccomend!

Quite muddy getting in.

So muddy! Can’t navigate with normal footwear.

Beautiful trail. Is dog friendly but watch out for ticks. There are maps at the beginning/end of each trail so it’s very easy to follow. Although the pink and black trails are not listed on the maps around the preserve. It does get pretty muddy after a good rain but fairly easy to walk

Well tracked, well marked trails that were easy to follow. Much less muddy than other area trails we’ve hiked this spring. The route covers the blue, red and yellow trails, all of which were relatively flat and easy. There’s a nice stream that runs alongside in a few spots, and the old rusted out cars were fun to see.

A pleasent hike with just enough hills to offer a decent work out. Some beautiful views of the bay.
